Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3369

It took a while for Rawlinson to regain his composure. Then, he asked with a peculiar expression, “Commander Cross, how come you're here?”

Nathan remained seated on the chair and softly asked, “Are you surprised? Shocked, even?”

Indeed, it was surprising, but it was not entirely unexpected.

After all, everyone knew that Nathan helped Dido to restore her country and had even invested a lot of manpower and resources there. It would be quite normal for Nathan to come and visit.

However, Rawlinson was here on Wolfric's orders to threaten Dido into siding with Ariarica.

Yet, he had run into Nathan here. Things were getting awkward.

He hesitated before saying, “I'm not surprised, not at all...”

Nathan ignored the guy and turned to Dido to say, “Your Majesty, since Mr. Rawlinson is asking for a fair and just handling of this matter, then please do as he wishes! Otherwise, not only will he be dissatisfied with the outcome, but the soldiers who were injured by them will also be unsatisfied.”

Dido contemplated,

She paused for a moment, then broke into a smile. “Commander Cross, you were so quiet that I almost forgot you were here. Perfect timing. The alliance has just achieved a great victory, but they have yet to disband. Our nation of Wallera was restored with the help of Mr. Cross and the alliance. The members of Rawlinson's party are also part of the alliance. Therefore, Mr. Cross, you're the perfect person to preside over this matter and ensure justice is served.”

What? Let Nathan preside over this matter and ensure justice is served?

Upon hearing this, Rawlinson immediately sensed trouble.

Nathan, in a spirit of generosity, complied with Dido's request and agreed, “All right then, since you all are still members of the alliance, I, as the commander-in-chief of the alliance, will help you handle this!”

Then, Nathan calmly continued, “What happened is quite straightforward. It was simply Rawlinson and his party who, without receiving any permission, barged through the borders and intruded into the capital of Wallera. They even injured several Wallerian soldiers. Thomas stepped in to intervene, acting within the bounds of legality and regulation, with reason and evidence on his side. Therefore, Thomas was merely fulfilling his duties, safeguarding the security and interests of Wallera, and he was not at fault.”

After Nathan finished speaking, he turned to Rawlinson and continued, “As for you, as soldiers, don't you know the implications of trespassing on another country's territory? Your actions are akin to an invasion, Rawlinson. What do you think should be your punishment?”

“Good riddance! Good riddance! Those who dare drive a tank into deserve this fate.”

Nathan gave Blake a cold glance.

Then, his gaze landed on Rawlinson. “You inquired about how to resolve this matter, right? Very well, I shall provide you with an answer now.”

After saying that, Nathan reached out and took Colin's gun, aimed it at Blake, and fired three shots in succession, killing Blake instantly.

Rawlinson and his subordinates were all stunned.

“You—”

Nathan handed the pistol back to Colin before looking at Rawlinson indifferently. “According to the rules of the alliance, those who initiate aggression or an attack on the alliance are to be killed without mercy. He ran over a soldier from Wallera with his car, and so, he is to be executed on the spot. You and the rest of the team, prepare a review report for Wolfric when you get back.”
