Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3377

Thomas stared coldly at Black Mamba, his voice icy as he asked, “Have you had your fill of laughter? If you're done, prepare to meet your end.”

Black Mamba initially didn't have much confidence before knowing who his opponent was.

Upon realizing that his opponent was merely a one-armed man, he couldn't help rejoicing at that. It boosted his confidence significantly.

He had fought and defeated countless underground boxing champions across various continents.

In Black Mamba's eyes, a one-armed general like Thomas was nothing more than a handicap. He wouldn't live up to his reputation if he failed to defeat a disabled man.

He wasn't angered by Thomas' challenging tone, and his laughter grew even louder,

“There's no need to rush. I've always been respectful towards people with disabilities, never belittling them. Don't worry. When the duel begins, I'll let you start with the first three moves for fairness' sake. I'm sincere enough, aren't I, my disabled brother?”

Thomas said indifferently, “I've seen plenty of cocky individuals meet a tragic demise. Likewise, those on their deathbeds too. But you're the first I've seen smiling so happily before their death.”

Upon hearing this, Black Mamba's haughty expression stiffened.

He was ticked off. “These are some lofty claims. I heard you're Eurasian. Don't tell me you used to follow Nathan, God of War?”

Thomas lifted his face. “That's right! I had the honor of serving as a foot soldier under Mr. Cross.”

Black Mamba worried that Thomas was either an old subordinate or a favorite general of Nathan's. Therefore, he deliberately posed this question to determine Thomas' background and origins.

If he was revealed to be a former favorite general of Nathan, then he should show mercy. It would be enough to defeat Thomas without taking his life. After all, he did not intend to offend Nathan by doing away with those under him.

However, if Thomas didn't have a direct connection with Nathan, there was no need to show mercy. He would dispatch him straightaway to flaunt his skills before Prince Senna. This would also serve as a stepping stone for him to claim credit in the future.

At this point, it seemed like Thomas was nothing more than a mere foot soldier under Nathan's command in the past.

He immediately brushed it off.

Nathan was once the Commander-In-Chief of the North Army and is now the current Chief Military Governor. Hence, all the nation's troops were under his command.

There wasn't a single soldier who did not report to Nathan.
