Colin rushed to Nathan's side, watching Sevan trotting further away at a distance. Realizing what was happening, he became thoroughly anxious.
He could no longer control himself and shouted, “Sevan!”
Upon hearing that, Sevan halted in his tracks but did not turn around.
Nathan frowned, lowering his voice to speak to Colin. “Colin, I've decided to let Sevan live in Adrune. Don't interfere in this matter anymore. Let him go.”
Colin usually looked up to Nathan with great respect.
However, tonight, he unusually did not follow Nathan's instructions.
Tears welled up in his tiger-like eyes as he stared intently at Sevan's figure. He loudly said, “Sevan, if you leave, what will happen to Mr. Cross?”
Upon hearing that, Nathan was taken aback, slightly raising his voice. “Colin!”
Upon hearing Colin's inexplicable words, Sevan immediately looked surprised and confused. He slowly turned around, casting a doubtful gaze at Colin, and questioned, “Colin, what did you just say? What's wrong with Master?”
Tears fell from Colin's eyes. Ignoring Nathan's displeasure, he gritted his teeth and spoke. “Do you know Mr. Cross was also poisoned while fighting against Gregg and a group of vampire princes to avenge you? Before his death, Gregg injected a drop of the ancestral blood of a King-Class vampire into Mr. Cross. He's just like you now!”
“What?!” Upon hearing these words, Sevan felt as if he had been struck by lightning, his body shaking violently.
As soon as Colin spoke these words, he no longer held any reservations. Choking up, he said, “Whether you can be cured or not actually determines whether Mr. Cross can be cured. You are Mr. Cross' hope. If you leave, the research experiments of Cross Group must also come to a halt, shattering Mr. Cross' hopes! What will he do if you leave?”
