These three individuals are none other than the Top Three Shadow Guards of the Curia.
Despite seeing the man in the baseball cap burst in, Eddie didn't seem to care. He simply asked Abigail in a casual tone, “Is he Larry?”
Abigail replied in a trembling voice, “Yes!”
Larry asked quizzically, “Abigail, who are they, and what are they doing here?”
Abigail answered, “They have come looking for you.”
Looking for me?
Larry stared blankly at the three foreigners.
Once Eddie confirmed that the person in front of him was indeed the one he was looking for, he turned toward Larry and smiled.
“Hello, we have something to discuss with you. It seems like you've been secretly selling blood packs from the hospital's blood bank recently. We're quite interested in your buyers. Can you tell us who they are?”
Larry's face changed immediately.
Angrily, he said, “What on earth are you three talking about? I don't understand what you're saying. I'm warning you, leave immediately, or you'll regret it.”
Eddie smiled and said, “That's rude of you. People like you deserve to be taught a lesson.”
After he finished speaking, he glanced at Jovan, who was standing next to him.
Jovan understood the former's intention and stepped forward intimidatingly.
Larry was both shocked and angry. “What are you trying to do? Do you have a death wish?”
As he spoke, he swung a punch at Jovan's face.
Jovan effortlessly caught Larry's punch. Applying just a hint of force, he managed to pry open Larry's clenched fist.
Larry winced in pain, his teeth gritted.
With his other hand, Jovan swiftly pulled out a sharp little knife. With a swift flick, he severed three of Larry's fingers.
Thereafter, three blood-stained fingers fell to the ground.
Larry couldn't help but let out an agonized scream.
Abigail, who was standing next to him, was so scared that she burst into tears.
