Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3596

On the battlefield, the vampires had suffered heavy losses, with casualties exceeding one-third of their army.

If it weren't for Hepburn personally leading the battle and the exceptional resilience of those vampire elites, they would have likely lost and fled long ago.

Still, even though they weren't fleeing, the remaining vampires were struggling to hold on.

Oleg, wielding a lightsword, was thoroughly enjoying the battle.

“Ninety-eight...”

“Ninety-nine...”

He had already slain ninety-nine vampires in a row.

Like a bolt of lightning, he closed in on the already injured Sinistral. His lightsword slashed repeatedly, brutally breaking through Sinistral's defense. Immediately afterward, he raised his lightsword, ready to decapitate Sinistral.

He exclaimed smugly, “One hundred!”

At that critical moment, when he was about to kill Sinistral, a figure dashed forward, positioning itself in front of Sinistral, and with a swift motion, threw a punch toward Oleg's lightsword.

Oleg was on the verge of defeating his hundredth opponent.

He never expected someone would pop up halfway to interfere.

His eyes turned icy. “Who are you? How dare you interrupt me, you fool? I shall let you perish together!”

After saying that, he swung his lightsword toward the figure before him, intending to cut down the newcomer, along with Sinistral behind him, in one fell swoop.

Unbeknownst to him, the person who suddenly appeared before him was none other than Nathan.

At that moment, on the battlefield, no one was paying attention to Nathan. Everyone simply regarded Nathan as an insignificant soldier!

When Oleg struck with his sword, he immediately realized something was amiss.

Nathan's fist met Oleg's lightsword head-on.

Boom!

A thunderclap resounded across the plain.

Nathan remained motionless.

Oleg was sent flying, sword and all, by the powerful punch of Nathan.

Without any hesitation, he flapped the four wings on his back, barely managing to land on the ground, appearing utterly disheveled.

However, Nathan remained standing in the same spot!

Seeing Oleg's terrifying sword about to strike him, Nathan suddenly lifted his left hand and firmly grasped his opponent's incoming lightsword.

Nathan firmly grasped his opponent's lightsword. The moment he held it, the glow of the sword dimmed instantly as if it would extinguish at any moment.

The power of the sword was effortlessly neutralized by Nathan with a simple raise of his hand.

Oleg's eyes widened, and disbelief showed on his face. Who is this insignificant soldier? Why is he so powerful?

The scene was filled with silence.

Vampires and Gods alike, everyone was stunned by the scene before them.

Even Gulliver's eyes flashed with a hint of surprise as he quickly warned, “Oleg, this person is extremely powerful and dangerous. Retreat quickly!”

Regrettably, his reminder was too late.

Boom!

With a swift motion, Nathan crushed Oleg's lightsword in his left hand while fiercely swinging his right fist toward Oleg's chest.
