Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3659

The two spaceships of the Gods, forced to land on the sea surface, were immediately surrounded by the furious pirates.

All the warriors on the two spaceships were soon killed.

The spaceship operators, in turn, began to surrender and beg for mercy.

Space pirates had an unspoken rule. When they engaged in robbery or plunder, they generally would not kill the operators of the spaceships.

For one, these spaceship operators didn't pose much of a threat.

Secondly, every spaceship was unique, requiring operators to undergo specialized training before they could take the helm. In fact, many of these operators were high-level engineers themselves.

Such proficient spaceship operators were often the talent that pirates yearned for.

Without these operators, even if the pirates managed to seize a new spaceship, they wouldn't be able to use it.

Therefore, the pirates developed a rule not to kill the spaceship operators.

The operators of these two spaceships were also fortunate enough to survive.

This battle, had finally come to an end.

The pirates paid a hefty price, with around twenty of their spaceships destroyed, and the pirates themselves suffered heavy casualties.

However, Toothless and the others were actually quite relieved.

If it weren't for Nathan's spaceship arriving in the nick of time, their band of space pirates would have surely been annihilated.

At this moment, Toothless, along with his trusted subordinate Scarbrow, came to express their gratitude to Nathan.

Nathan said with a smile, “No need for thanks. All I ask is that you give the two spaceships of the Gods you've captured as spoils of war to me.”

Upon hearing this, Toothless felt somewhat reluctant to do so.

The pirates suffered heavy losses this time. However, if those two seized spaceships were to go to him, then his losses would be insignificant.

He was somewhat reluctant to hand over the spaceships, which he had just acquired, to Nathan.

Yet, out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the behemoth in the distant sky.

The hesitation in his eyes vanished in an instant, and he said with a fawning smile, “Of course, these two spoils of war should rightfully belong to Mr. Cross.”

After all, he had personally witnessed the power of the God's Punisher Spaceship just a moment ago.
