"Regarding the Four Emperors, they seemed intimidated by me last night. However, why have they suddenly changed their minds about leaving the Divine Realm and started doubting me?" Nathan wondered.
Hepburn, momentarily surprised, then asked cautiously, "Your Majesty, are you suggesting that there might be an informant leaking your information, causing the Four Emperors to reconsider their departure?"
"Although you and Colin have been diligent in handling my affairs, there are others who are aware of my injury, such as certain doctors. Despite their loyalty, there is no guarantee that they couldn't be coerced or enticed into divulging information."
Hepburn's expression became troubled, and she speculated, "Could it be the doing of those defeated Gods, Dinko and Moblan? Perhaps they learned of your injury and informed the Four Emperors."
Nathan advised with calm authority, "Until we uncover the mole, everyone is a suspect. Let's not jump to conclusions."
Hepburn responded, "All right, I'll arrange for an investigation."
Nathan, however, was skeptical. "It's unlikely that we'll uncover anything quickly, but I have a strategy to coax the mole into exposing himself."
Intrigued, Hepburn asked, "What's the strategy?"
Nathan elaborated, "Given that the Four Emperors have been tipped off, the informant will likely try to test my defenses. We'll use this to our advantage by setting a trap. Let's deliberately leak my schedule for the upcoming days to a few suspects. If they are the informants, they will pass my plans to the Four Emperors, who might then attempt something like an ambush. This will help us identify the mole."
Hepburn was taken aback by the boldness of the plan. "But Your Majesty, using yourself as bait is extremely risky..."
Nathan said calmly, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Follow my instructions in setting this up."
With no alternative, Hepburn acquiesced, "Understood." She paused, then asked, "Your Majesty, whom do you suspect needs to be tested?"
Nathan handed her a list. "Here are the names of potential traitors."
As Hepburn scanned the list, she saw Moblan and Dinko at the top, followed by several God Paladins. Armed with this list, her task became clearer.
As she turned to leave, Nathan called out, "Wait!"
