Nathan surveyed the scene before him.
He noticed that Leopold and Wolfric were injured, while Zach was trapped underfoot, and the area was littered with the bodies of Earth Alliance soldiers.
His expression turned cold.
His gaze landed on Fermin, who wore a pirate's eyepatch, and he said icily, "It seems you have forgotten the pain now that your wound has healed. Last time, I took out one of your eyes, and yet you still dare to cause trouble. If you want to keep your leg, you better move it off my friend immediately, or I assure you, you will lose it forever."
Everyone's attention shifted to Fermin.
Fermin met Nathan's icy gaze, and a wave of fear welled up within him.
Recalling the battle at Snowcrest Sanctum, where Nathan had blinded one of his eyes and nearly killed him, he instinctively wanted to retreat.
But just as he was about to move his foot off Zach, he regained his senses.
If Nathan's words alone were enough to scare him into releasing Zach, where would his dignity stand?
His face flushed red, and he gathered his courage to glare at Nathan, his voice filled with defiance. "Who do you think you are to assume I would release someone just because you said so? Today, I will settle the score with you for what happened at Snowcrest Sanctum. You will pay the price for your actions that day!"
Nathan said indifferently, "I initially intended to give you a chance and spare your body, but since you don't value it, I won't hold back anymore."
After saying that, Nathan made his move.
His figure began to fade.
Fermin wondered what was happening.
Suddenly, a figure materialized before his eyes. It was Nathan.
Nathan had not completely vanished from his original spot, yet he had already appeared before Fermin.
Fermin was horrified, and in his desperation, he didn't have time to switch to combat form. Instead, he swiftly launched a fierce kick at Nathan, hoping to force him to retreat.
With a cold huff, Nathan also lifted his foot and kicked back.
Snap!
With a powerful kick, Nathan accurately struck Fermin's knee joint, breaking his right leg. The lower half of the leg flew off.
"Ah!"
