That evening, the God's Punisher Spaceship hovered over Channing in Southern Eurasia. It embarked passengers including Benson and Leah, and amidst a flurry of human debate and controversy, it left Earth to return to the Divine Realm.
The journey to their destination took a month.
During this time, Nathan, his children, and other family members attentively cared for the still-sleeping Penny.
Remarkably, within a few days, Penny, along with Ava and Colin, awoke.
Initially, they had braced themselves for a final farewell, but to their surprise, they were rescued from death's door. At first, they were incredulous, only later learning from Nathan that he had transformed them into vampires.
Inside their room, Nathan and Penny sat close, looking out at the vast cosmos. Nathan expressed his regret, “I'm sorry I couldn't protect you and had to turn you into a vampire. I was desperate to save you—”
Before he could finish, Penny gently covered his mouth, reassuring him, “No need to explain, I understand. In those final moments, all I thought about was you and our children. We're still together. That's all that matters, no matter what we become.”
Nathan then shared his vision of their new home, “In the Divine Realm, you'll find a diverse community—humans, Gods, vampires, and various alien races, all treated equally. It's a vast, rich world, ten times larger than Earth. This will be our new home, for generations to come.”
Penny's excitement grew as she envisioned their new life. “I can't wait to see it,” she exclaimed.
Holding his beloved wife close, Nathan replied, smiling, “In just over a dozen days, we'll be there.”
“Okay!”
As Nathan peered out of the spacecraft's window, the familiar sight of the solar system had vanished into the distance. Earth, once his homeland, had become a place he might find difficult to revisit.
He contemplated a potential return, perhaps when Earth had settled its turmoil and proactively reached out for cooperation and assistance from the Divine Realm.
About ten days later, the God's Punisher Spaceship reached the Divine Realm.
The God King had returned!
A grand reception awaited them, orchestrated by Hepburn and other prominent figures of the realm, including Sinistral, Toothless, Solo, Dinko, and Moblan. They, along with the realm's populace, greeted Nathan and his family warmly.
