Chapter Forty-Nine: Packhouse
Jason
The drive to the packhouse passed quickly. Everything was dark until we turned the comer and the house care ino en Wiele out a gasp
“You said we would be going to a house. This isn’t a house, this is a mansion” She said, looking up at the four story building
“Mansion?” I asked, my lips twitching into a smile.
“Yeah, mansion. How many people live here?” She asked, leaning forward into her seat to take in the red brick building in front of her with its huge wrap around porch. I had never really considered how it would look 10 on outsider But mansion was fitting, it was made to house the pack.
My great grandfather had built it with his sons and made it plenty big enough. When I was a child had sporit many days esploring the rooms and memorizing every good hiding spot.
“A lot of us live here. Some of my pack live in the city.” I said with a chrug. “We’ve got about forty people staying in the house at the moment. I tend to let my pack make their own choices, but the house is always open to them.”
“Pack? So there are more of you guys that believe you’re wolves?” She asked, looking away from the house and back at me
“We’re shifters. Later, the guys and I will show you.” 1 reached over, grabbing Tillie’s hand and giving it a squeeze “But yes, my pack is composed of other wolf shifters.”
“That’s neat.”
“Mmm, families live on the lands in their own homes.” I added, wondering if that was what she would want? The four of us, in our home somewhere on pack lands. Maybe a small house with rocking chairs on the front porch I could imagine her sitting outside with us watching the sunset. Her belly swollen with our child and maybe one or two toddling around.
It made me feel warm for that future with her and the others. Later, I would start to set it up after I talked with Travis and Ryan. We would pick a house that would be our home with Tillie.
I pulled the SUV around to the back of the house. Reaching up, I pressed a button on my remote that was clipped onto my sun visor and the garage door started to roll open.
“And it just keeps going.” Tillie muttered, looking at the many cars in the garage. All of them gleamed in neat and orderly rows.
“Pack members, kitten.” I smirked at her, pulling into my parking spot and parking my SUV. I pulled the keys from the ignition, tucking them into my pocket along with my phone. I opened the door before slipping out I closed the door behind me, making my way around the back of my car until I reached Tillie’s door.
She opened the door, giving me a strange look as she climbed out. “What are you doing?”
“Well, I was opening the door for my mate. But it seems you’ve already gotten out.” I chided, how was I supposed to treat her right if she wasn’t going to let me?
“Maybe you should be faster next time.” Tillie said with a smirk, she closed the door. Turning, she looked up at me and I couldn’t wait to get her inside and up to my room. I wanted to tie her down to pull every orgasm from her until she couldn’t take it anymore.
“I’ll show you fast, kitten.” I growled, stepping closer to her until our hips met.
“Jason.” She gasped as I backed her up so that her body was pinned against the side of my car. “What are you doing?”
I brought my hands down to her wrists, bringing them up until her body was stretched tight against my own. Her back arching, her breasts pressed against my chest and she drew in a breath as I pinned her hands up above her head. I leaned closer to her, breathing in that sweet cherry scent of hers.
“Im kisong you. Tillie. Pay attention.” I leaned closer to her, letting my breath move over her lips.
le
y es widened before closing and she lilled her head up towards me. Waiting for my kiss. I moved one hand up to pin her in plaas brought my other hand down to cup the side of her face. Pressing my lips to her soft lips .
Tillie moaned into the kiss, her lips parting beneath mine. I loved how I could pull these moans from her with just a kiss. It made me want to know what other sounds I could pull from her.
Our tongues hooked together and I moved my hand down to her side. Gripping her body, enjoying every curve.
I pulled back slightly, kissing my way down her jaw before stepping back and letting her hands go.
Tillie opened her eyes, looking at me. Her kiss swollen lips pressed into a thin line and she glared at me.
“Next time, let me get the door. Yeah?”
“That depends.” She said, stepping closer to me. Her hands moved down to toy with my belt buckle.
“What does it depend on?” I asked, trying to fight back a smile.
“On whether or not you’re going to kiss me like that again.” She pressed up onto her toes, pressing a kiss to the corner of my lips before she stepped back. “Did you want to show me your home, Jason?”
“Kitten.” I groaned, moving to follow her.
She looked over at me, her blue eyes sparkling and I knew at that moment I would do anything to see her smile at me like that. It was like seeing the sun after a long stormy night.
Tillie eased an ache inside of me that I hadn’t even known that I was feeling. She was my mate and I knew that I was going to spend the rest of my life showing her how grateful that I was that she was giving me this chance.
“Come on, kitten. Let’s get inside.” I said, resting my hand on her lower back as I-led her out of the garage and into the house.
