In the dark, the atmosphere was sweet. Originally Charlotte wanted to ask him how was thing going but she had forgotten about it. Kennedy pressed the back of head after a few talks with her, “Pregnant woman should go to bed early, let’s talk later.”

“Ok.” Charlotte was tired and closed her eyes in a daze.

In a moment the breath became even in the darkness, and then another breath too became even.

When she got up the next day, Kennedy went to work as usual. She woke up alone in bed again.

She should have gotten used to it.
