He walked me over to the chairs and made me sit in one of them as he sat in the other, his fingers still wrapped around mine gently.
“So, tell us what our son had done,” Gavin said, turning his attention to the principal who was watching us warily.
Principal Thorne cleared his throat and looked between the two of us.
“Matthew got into a fight yesterday in the lunchroom, he explained, making me gasp. “We have zero tolerance for fighting in this school and the only reason he wasn’t expelled was because he’s a Landry. I wanted to discuss with you the proper punishment for the boy.”
I expected Gavin to list out different punishments for Matt; fighting was certainly not okay and if he couldn’t be expelled because he’s a Landry, then there has to be something else that could be done. I expected Gavin to be furious with Matt about this behavior.
But what I wasn’t expecting was the calmness that fell over him as he stared at the principal, as if it was Principal Thorne who was in the wrong. He leaned back in his seat and took in the principal before him. “And why exactly did Matt fight this boy? Do you know the reasoning?” Gavin asked.
I raised my brows at the question; that was actually a good question. I turned to face the principal, waiting for an answer.
“I… I’m not exactly sure…” the principal said, his brows pinched together.
“You didn’t bother to ask him what had happened to upset him?” Gavin asked, raising his brows. “Matt isn’t known to be violent unless there’s a reason behind it.”
I knew Gavin was right; Matt didn’t seem to those tutors he chased off weren’t there for good reason; they were selfish, greedy, and mistreated Matt, all because they wanted to get with his father. Matt had every reason to chase them away. But once you get to know him, he’s a sweet little boy who only wants his family to spend more time with him.

He’s lonely and often sad; he craves attention, and he’ll get that attention any way he can. But I can’t see him seeking out that kind of attention at school. I knew school was important to him; it was obvious from how hard he worked during our study sessions. He wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize that unless there was good reason.
“It doesn’t matter the reasoning. He still went against our school rules,” Principal Thorne said, folding his arms across his chest. “I know he’s your son, Alpha Landry, but something needs to be done about his behavior.”
“His behavior?” 1 finally found my voice to speak. “You don’t even know the cause of his behavior and you expect us to punish him? How do we know Matt was the one who started this fight? He could have been defending himself. Why aren’t the other boy’s parents here? Are you planning on punishing him
as well?”
“The other boy had a broken nose and needed to go to the nurse’s office,” Principal Thorne said, his frown deepening

Spoiler alert** Lol I knew it! As soon as Irene mentioned Rachel and her death, I just knew she was going to end up coming back. Making things complicated. For real though I need more than just 2 chapters a day lol...
Chapters 68,69 and 70 are the exact same. It's 69 and 70 are copies of 68 and then there seems to be an entire page missing because the ending to 68,69,70 is where she is introducing herself to the secretary of the school and then chapter 71 starts with: He walked me over to one of the chairs and made me sit in one of them. I wanna know what transpired, how freaked out she must've been when she seen his dad was there, lol....
What an as*!!! Well as much as I could tell from that jumbled up mess of a chapter. I can't decide which words I liked the best: 1. Tochincozon 2. Stilevidem or 3. Liceatterismeeting. I think number 3, it looks like lice was at their meeting. 🤣🤣🤣...
Well, it seems that Ethan is NOT marked, because Irene was worried about is he ever found his fated mate, would they still be together. The question is: Why? Why isn't he marked but, Judy is?? Was that another sick way for Ethan to control Judy, by making her but not letting her mark him?? 🤔 Also, Is Matt & Irene's Mother the same person? Or do they have different Mothers? The reason I ask, is because in chapter 8, Gavin makes the comment that Matt doesn't speak to his Mom and won't fit a long time if he has anything to do with it, but in this chapter, Irene talks about her Mom has passed on....
I really like the plot and the relationship developing between Gavin and Judy, but I hate when a heroine keeps getting hurt over and over. You have this setup for her to be hurt by Lila, Gavin, her parents and Levi while I’m just wanting to get back to her dating Gavin and seeing him be nice to her. (There has got to be a proportionate amount of romance to go with the drama…but it looks like you have her not just seeing drama but being treated horribly again.)...
Lots of missing content and some areas of the book are unreadable due to typos. Otherwise its an incredible plot. Could use less of the same descriptions when it comes to the s*x scenes. I found it annoying that the main character Judy kept allowing her ex to grab her the way he did. She's training to be an Elite Gamma. She should be able to defend herself against that as*hole....
There is so much missing and many spot flipped...
Chapter 340 It seems that the author has not finished this story. She did this post about it last spring or summer....
Ch.-22. She needs to get a backbone. She should've screamed for her Mom when he was assaulting her and when he answered his phone with Irene on the phone, she should've screamed out "Ethan get out of my room, your engaged "!!...
Ch.17-I hope Gavin is secretly doing something to expose Ethan to Irene because if not, he's not looking like a very, good father to allow Ethan to date his daughter while knowing that Ethan's flat out lying and keeping stuff from Irene. Also, does Irene not know that he was mated before? I mean, Judy keeps mentioning that her mark on her neck is still there and will be until Ethan marks another. Does he not have a mark? If he does what did he tell Irene? Maybe I'll get my answers soon. So far I have enjoyed reading this novel....
