IRIS'S POV~~~

My paces were abrupt as I continued making my towards Mr.Scott's chamber absentmindedly. My foolish mind continued reflecting on the poor image of that man who shedded tears in front me.

I heard once from my mother that men would only cry when he is deeply hurt!

How much his children would be heartbroken if he loses everything?

This thoughts were terribly bothering me as I clasped the files handed by Mr.Scott. Making my way out of his office, I headed for the president's office still contemplating on the thought that how should I pursue him exactly.

Damn Iris! You could have offered me some money instead! Why did you bother to accept this risky task that could definitely lead you to hell? You have the damn courage of seeking favour from the nation's leader on the very first day of your job?

Cursing myself viciously, I pushed open the door before hopping inside. My hazel gaze landed on the serious man over there whose appearance was extremely domineering.

His bottomless eyes were reflecting the flushed screen continuously as he kept his gaze sharp than knife. The tip of his index finger was tapping on his chin as if he was calculating something in his thoughts.

For a moment, I couldn't able to pull away my eyes as if he had a god gifted aura of seducing any woman. My presence didn't bother him as he never lifted up his eyes to face me. I quite admired those men who were serious over his works. Undoubtedly he was one of them as being the nation's leader at this age and handling his own companies weren't an easy task.

I was so lost in my own perception that I didn't know when did he look up to face me. Arching his eyebrows a little, he called out softly,

" Miss Young?"

I was startled before lowering down my gaze embarrassingly. I could feel my cheeks burning hot unreasonably as I wisely regained my calm composure.

Taking large steps, I stopped in front his desk before putting down those files with a thud. Clearing my throat to avoid any awkwardness, I stated in my professional tongue,

" Mr.Scott has urged you to sign this files fast, Mr President. Without your signature, the project with L country will be postponed to next month. Today is the last date."

" Is something wrong with you?", he inquired without looking up at me.

I was a little taken of this sudden change of topic and blurted out,

" What? "

He finally lifted up his eyes to meet me and gave me a deep detective gaze. I became uncomfortable in no moment and tried to inspect his thoughts. Curling up his lips slightly, he spoke in a calm tone,

" Your cheeks seem different. Is something wrong? "

Hell God No!!! Why was he so observative?

I looked away awkwardly and forced a sly smile that absolutely seemed artificial. Patting on my cheeks awkwardly, I sutured knowing that I was being horny around him again,

" No.. No.. I'm absolutely fine.. It must be the weather. It's too hot here today haha.."

I laughed faking and fanned myself with my hand dramatically to make it more realistic. Shifting my eyes on him, I saw him knitting his brows harder before stealing a glimpse from the ceiling aside.

Turning back to face me, he replied with an amused expression,

" It's 24 degree Celsius inside my office."

"...."

Goodness! I completely forgot that there was an AC inside his room. How could I feel hot?

A gush of embarrassment flashed all over my expression as I quickly found a hole to hide my lewd mind.

As he kept his eyes hooded on me, I made an excuse just to slip away from his unscrupulous questions,

" Umm.. I need to use the washroom..You can carry on signing. I'm coming back in a minute."

I asserted before running inside the washroom without hearing out his response. Lucky I grabbed the purse on my way inside the bedroom and locked from indoor with a loud thud.

Jeez! Jeez! It was too embarrassing!

I dropped down my pursue over the barstool before starting the tap hastily. Splashing some cold waters over my face, I looked up at my own reflection before burning in shame.

How could you feel horny so easily, Iris? Damn it!

I scolded my thoughts and finally remembered the words that I said to the man before. Biting my soaked lips down, I had an absorb idea to pursue him later.

A helpless sigh escaped through my lips as I pulled open the pursue frantically. Putting out a little pocket perfume,my lips curled up into a smirk as Daisy's teasing words buzzed across my mind.

"This perfume is considered to be the best one across the world, IRIS. I have bought it from an online shop. It's called Valerie's Seduction. The shop owner assured me that it can attract any man with a twist.. How is it!! Tell me once you apply it. Don't forget to share your experience with me.. Must remember that I have spent dollars over it for your birthday present. "[ Daisy's spoken words earlier]

I remembered her exaggerating words in my mind and pressed the releaser finally. Covering the alluring smile all over my body, I mumbled looking at my own reflection,

" I hope, it does work or else you are dead, Daisy. "

I finished off spraying it over me and looked at myself once again. After splashing water, I appeared much calm than before as I made my way outside once again.

Letting out a restless sigh, I cheered up myself trailing over his desk.

You can say it, Iris. He is just Xavier Gray. Forget about it! He should be much gentleman than him!

I paused in front of his desk before offering him a sweet smile which he missed. He was looking through the papers attentively and ordered without looking up,

" Help me letting out the seal, Miss Young. It should be in my drawer."

I was secretly relived that he didn't pursue the matter further and shifted over his side quickly. Looking down, I spotted three drawers and started pulling out one by one considerably.

At the second drawer, I found the official seal that had his name crafted beautifully. My eyes shone in relief as I picked up the seal before intending to put it down over the files.

Here my misfortune had started !

As soon as I took an hasty move aside, my pace were misplaced as I let out a surprised cry. The following moment, my feet bumped against his rocking chair and my whole weight fell down over him in a moment.

I cried out in fear of my back getting hit against the marble floor hardly. Before I could drop down, I felt a pair of strong arms quickly took my sanity saving me from dropping down drastically.
