Seducing The President novel Chapter 13

I quickly snapped out of my thoughts and unbuckled the seat belt before hopping down from the car. The driver went fast to pull out the door for his departing as he stepped down over the carpeted floor tapping on his black boots.

My eyes kept staring at the logo " THE NEONS FOODS" for a few moments while my eyes observed the green rooftop filled with various flower trees. Subconsciously my lips formed into a soft smile without my notice.

He walked ahead in front of me as I diverted my eyes to his retreating back. The owner of this well famous restaurant had changed. I found that was a middle aged man who appeared already waiting for us anxiously in the gate.

He gave a long bow spotting us together as we entered in. I found the whole restaurant empty as I asked curiously snapping my head here and there,

" Doesn't anyone come here?"

He gave me a short reply while reaching near a well decorated table,

" I have booked the entire restaurant. That's why it turned out empty."

Holy shit! That's how rich people work! I get it!

I rolled my eyes before plopping down with a thud on the chair opposite of him as his face scrunched up in my behaviour. But I don't give it a damn!

Fuck! He sucks!

XAVIER'S POV~~

I found this woman useful and annoying at the same that made me feel sick on her.

Look at her behaviour! She behaves more like a nine years old child who haven't learnt her etiquette at all. But I guess, my cold glare didn't give her a damn warning as she rolled her eyeballs dramatically.

I diverted my eyes from her helplessly and spotted the old lady at a corner who was standing and smiling at my way. I was very well known with this thirty years old restaurant that had been my favourite restaurant so far.

I gestured her to come over here as she walked ahead holding the printed menu card in her hands. She presented it in front of my eyes before taking a curious glance of Miss Young.

She was sitting opposite of me nonchalantly as if I didn't even exist in front of her eyes. I gently pushed the card towards her before leaning against the chair comfortably.

She seemed dumbstruck as she looked up at me questioningly. I commanded briefly before shifting my eyes over her troubled face,

" You choose."

She seemed perturbed before taking up the menu card slowly. Her eyes roamed over the list from up to down swiftly before asking for my opinion,

" Is sea food okay with you?"

I shrugged my shoulder nonchalantly. I really didn't had so much preference towards foods. As long as it tastes good, I can devour it.

I watched her long eyelashes blinked twice before she placed her order to the old lady standing near our table side.

The fact that I had taken her to my favourite restaurant was only because she really impressed me with her skills today. I thought of cheering for her even though little did I realised that she didn't quite like me.

Hell! Why do I care? I'm her boss in reality and can order her anytime.

I heard the lady suggesting her gently,

" Any drink lady?"

She glanced at me hesitance written all over her face but quickly diverted her attention to the lady after finding me nonbothered.

Her painted lips formed into a sweet smile that could cause any man swallowing his own saliva in desire as she ordered,

" Red Wine! It suits with sea foods well."

The lady agreed with her statement before departing from our side and entered the kitchen quietly.

I found her expression uncomfortable looking here and there as soon as the woman left two of us alone here.

Treating me again like a non existence creature, she dived her hand into her purse to pull out her smartphone. As expected, she started playing with her phone but the nervousness between her eyes were still vivid. Even though her eyes seemed only focused on that brightness screen but her perturbed appearance denied her fake firm determination completely.

At first I thought I could handle this quite environment. But somehow having cold shoulder from her was bothering me too much.

Thus I straightened my suite's collar awkwardly before giving off a dry cough to catch her attention. But I successfully failed.

She didn't even look at me once. Sighing angrily, I focused outside and my raged eyes caught the beautiful nature outside instantly melting into a soft one.

This city road had giant vine maple trees in both sides covering the street with colorful leaves and gentle breeze. Even looking at that flowery street could make anyone's heart peaceful.

I heard two tiny voices inside my head as my eyes replayed the old memories that I had cherished so far.

Shortly after, I snapped out from my wild thoughts and shifted my eyes on the girl in front of me.

Finding a new topic to initiate the conversation, I spoke loudly earning a confused glare from her,

" Miss Young. Look outside or you might miss the beautiful scenario because of your stupid cellphone."

She rolled her eyes before gazing at my mentioned way nonchalantly. But unexpectedly, her eyes stopped blinking as she gazed at the street blankly for a couple of minutes.

I read her expression cautiously and somehow I saw the corner of her eyes started getting teared up.

I felt confused and troubled before asking out gently,

" Miss Young.. are.. are you okay?"

IRIS'S POV~~

I was playing with my phone for spending this awkward timing with this unreasonable man.He didn't even bother to ask me nicely.

Treating like a mere subordinate, he just commanded me to follow him here. I had my own plan too.

I perfectly ignored him and faked my firm attention on my phone. Then suddenly I heard that man's magnetic tone following up with a gentle suggestion to look outside.

At the sight of outside, my usual calm expression instantly changed into a painful memory.

The squirrels still played over the dry leaves that made my eyes tearing up recalling some unforgettable moment that I had saved in my memory forever.

I snapped out of my dreaming zone quickly as soon as I heard his unbelievable gentle tone,

" Miss Young, are you okay?"

Realization hit my brain as I quickly lowered my eyes to hide my unruly tears that came without being notified. I forced a fake smile replying back,

" Oh yes, Mr President. The view is really beautiful of Rainbow Street."

His expression scrunched up a little before placing his left palm on the table and asked with a hint of suspension,

" But I found from your record data that you haven't been in SILVERSTONE CITY ever."

My expression sank instantly as I clutched the hem of my skirt tightly. Giving an awkward smile, I responded avoiding our eye contact that could hypnotise me easily,

" No. I never been here but I researched over this city before shifting here."

He started unwrapping the bottle of water as he threw me a burning question,

" Then what made you come to SILVERSTONE CITY all of sudden Miss Young? You could have been done well in foreign."
