Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 1722

Chapter 1722

It was not related to work.

Again, Serenity asked Zachary with her pretty eyes glowing, “ What’s it then? Tell me.

We’re a couple.

We shouldn’t hide anything from each other.

As you said, you’ll never hide anything from me no matter what it is.” “Honey.” Zachary said in a low voice, “Someone flirted with me.” Serenity was speechless.

Her eyes widened, and her mouth agape.

Did she mishear him? Someone actually dared to flirt with Zachary? When he was outside, he always looked sulky, signaling others not to approach him.

There were bodyguards who followed him around to stop strangers from approaching him.

How was it possible that someone flirted with him? Unless that was a man.

With such a thought, Serenity asked, “Was it a man? Was it a gay who showed interest in you?” She felt that he would only allow people of his gender to approach him, which explained why that person had the opportunity to flirt with him.

After being quiet for a moment, he replied in a deep tone, “It wasa woman.

I talked business with a client tonight, and the client was Mr. Daniels.

Mr. Daniels’s secretary is his one and only daughter.

She seized the chance to stroke my palm when she shook my hand.” While speaking, Zachary let go of his hand and raised his right palm where Jenna stroked.

He said to Serenity, “Honey, she stroked this palm.” At the sight of his aggrieved and disdainful expression, Serenity was amused and a little annoyed.

Although the couple had not held a wedding, they were officially married.

Everyone knew that they were legally a couple, yet someone was actually interested in Zachary.

Serenity touched his handsome face and looked at him who was dressed in a suit.

He was mature, steady, clever, and capable.

All the adjectives related to success were suitable to describe him.

He gave off a noble aura.

This brilliant man was like a magnet who would turn heads wherever he went.

It was natural for someone to fall in love with him as Serenity did.

If no one liked him, that would be odd.

Humans loved wonderful things.

He was wonderful, and so was he likable.
