Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2207

The nutritionist did not interfere with everyone’s freedom to eat out. She was invited by her aunt to take care of the family’s diet, so she only had a say over those who ate at home. Her reach did not extend to those who ate outside.

Now, her main focus was her cousin’s wife.

Josh was the first in their generation to get married, and the baby in Jasmine’s belly would be the firstborn of the next generation. The whole Bucham family attached great importance to this, not just Rebecca.

To ensure that her cousin’s wife would give birth to a healthy and intelligent baby, the recipes for pregnant women that the nutritionist formulated were rich in nutrition. The dishes themselves were naturally of high quality and varied every day. The recipes would not change no matter if Jasmine liked to eat them or not.

Fortunately, Jasmine was a foodie and was not picky about food.

They always got along well.

When Rebecca and the nutritionist heard footsteps, they both turned to look at the door.

“Jasmine.”

Seeing that her daughter-in-law was back, Rebecca put down the gifts and went to Jasmine with a smile. “I’m sorry for calling you back on such a hot day.”

“It’s fine. I got in the car as soon as I went out. The car has AC, so it wasn’t hot.”

Jasmine smiled and looked at the gifts, then nodded at the nutritionist and greeted, “Theresa.”

Theresa nodded and did not say anything.

Jasmine was used to her silence.

Rebecca also looked at her daughter-in-law.

Jasmine replied honestly, “Josh and I went back to my house for lunch. It was hot, so I wanted to eat some pickled vegetables. The vegetables were pickled personally by my mother and were very fresh. I didn’t eat much either. I just had a few bites.”

Then, she laughed. “Your nose is amazing, Theresa. You could smell the pickled vegetables from my breath when I ate it for lunch.”

Theresa was silent before saying, “Jasmine, ordinary people should also eat less pickled food, and pregnant women even more so.”

“I know, Theresa. I only ate a little, and my mom made them herself. It was very fresh. I’ll pay more attention to my mouth and won’t eat it again.”

Jasmine smiled and said, “I just wanted to have a change in taste occasionally.”
