Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2212

Since Julian showed no positive reaction to the photos, Walter stuffed the prints back into the envelope in disappointment. He dejectedly uttered, “I wonder when you will find the girl. Grandma May is back, so I can meet with her. Maybe I can get her to invite the psychic to tell us where the girl is now.”

Julian replied, “Dad, the psychic said that he won’t meet with us or Grandma May anymore since it’s written in the stars. The psychic has his principles. We probably can’t see him even if we try.”

Walter had no words.

It was true that the psychic said so.

The psychic was willing to meet with Walter and give a reading for his son because their paths were meant to cross.

It was goodbye since their path ended there.

The psychic said the connection between the Buchams and Grandma May was intertwined, so his role in her story was over after meeting them.

He asked Grandma May not to bother him again.

Although Grandma May was hesitant, she respected the psychic’s wishes.

Many people did not get a chance to meet the psychic. The psychic was but a fleeting passerby in their lives, only leaving behind legends about him.

Walter disappointedly walked out of the study.

Julian showed concern by saying, “Don’t be upset, Dad. Things will happen when the time is right. If I’m destined to have a wife and kids, it will come eventually. Don’t be too worried about it, and just enjoy the wait.”

Oblivious to his son’s words, Walter made his way downstairs in disappointment.

Walter’s wife came through the door to find her husband disheartened. Stacy knew what her husband had done after spotting the envelope in his hand. She asked with concern, “How was it? How did our son react? Did anybody catch his attention, or was there anybody he took a second glance at?”

Walter hurled the envelope onto the coffee table and fell back onto the sofa.
