Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2223

Serenity’s eyes gleamed after tasting the new dishes her sister had brought for her to try.

Grandma May had the same reaction. After trying the new dish, she asked Liberty, “I’m going to sign up for a VIP membership at your restaurant and visit it every day. Your cooking skills have improved tremendously.”

Serenity nodded while chewing.

“Slow down, Seren. Don’t choke on the food.”

Liberty smiled when she saw her sister enjoying the food so much. She said, “I signed up for culinary classes and practiced on my own after. Mr. Lewis was my taste tester. I brought these over for you all to try because he said they tasted great.

“I feel reassured after hearing your comments, Grandma May.”

“You’re the best, Liberty!”

Serenity gave her sister a thumbs-up.

Her sister was becoming a stronger, more successful woman.

She had been an outstanding person from the start.

Back then, she was blinded by love and foolishly resigned from her job to be a full-time housewife. She became so busy with household chores and parenting that she was disconnected from society.

However, Liberty had since returned to work. She became a boss and was exploring the business world bravely.

A talented person could become great again as long as they had sufficient recovery time.

Liberty blushed. “I still have to work harder. My new store opens tomorrow and I’ll be helping out and cooking in the kitchen. The two chefs I hired make good food too. I believe the three of us will be able to satisfy our customers.”

Her goal was to own a grand restaurant of her own and have franchises located all over Wiltspoon and even the country.

She hoped she could achieve her goal one day.

He said he wanted to play with Dunc and could not stay with his dad.

That had upset the Browns.

Serenity gave her sister an ambiguous gaze.

Liberty poked Serenity’s forehead lightly and said, “You can continue eating your food. Don’t look at me like that. I’m going outside to pick up the call.”

She only answered Duncan’s call after walking out of her sister’s office.

“Where are you, Liberty? I didn’t see you at the restaurant. The staff said you went out.”

Since the new restaurant was opening the next day, the waitstaff Liberty hired had started working.

“I came out to deliver Seren some soup. She shouldn’t be outside as often because of the hot weather. Grandma May had the same thought too. She and Mrs. Lane brought lunch for Seren.”
