Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2561

Cain had also done something unlawful.

The illegal operations were seized, and although the amount involved was not particularly large, it tarnished the reputation of the Newman family. This led to a drop in the share value and a substantial decline in the family’s wealth and business.

Now, Camryn had taken control of Newman Enterprise with Callum’s and the company had weathered the storm.

Camryn had not discussed these matters with him; it was Dalton and Callum who informed him.

He had only learned about the hardships hidden behind his sister’s calm demeanor.

Camryn sought justice for her late father and had both of his parents sent to prison. This was difficult for him to accept because it meant his parents were criminals. While he had a hard time accepting Camryn’s “justice over family,” he understood her reasoning.

The Newman family was entirely under Camryn’s control, but she had stated that she would never take a single penny of what did not belong to her.

Anything that should go to him, she would give him.

As for Carrie, that was a matter for him and her to resolve legally.

Camryn would simply entrust his parents to him. Since his parents only had two children, the resolution of their affairs was theirs to manage.

“Camryn, I’m heading to class. After this, I’ll request leave and come back. We can talk more when I’m back.”

“Alright, go ahead.”

After the siblings ended the call, Camryn moved Cain and Paige’s belongings from their room to Trenton’s as he requested.

Trenton decided that he would inform Carrie about the belongings in her room when she was in a better mood to deal with it.

From now on, she and Carrie were no longer family.
