Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2779

In the evening, Kevin’s usual Maybach drove to Queen Enterprise on time.

He parked at the building’s entrance.

Kevin got out of the car with a bouquet. He looked as handsome as ever in a suit.

“Mr. York.”

Everyone greeted him with a smile as he walked through.

However, their smiles immediately dropped once he passed by them.

Kevin was aware that many of Queen Enterprise’s employees hated him.

If it were not for his status, those people would not even spare him a fake smile.

Ah, he must have not put in enough effort in wooing Hayden. She did not even have the thought of revealing herself as a woman yet.

Therefore, he had no choice but to be labeled as gay and receive the hatred of Jensburg’s young ladies.

Nevertheless, Kevin adjusted his mindset quickly enough.

He had been mentally prepared for it from the day he started courting Hayden.

Regardless of what others said, he would continue to win over her heart.

Actually, there was also a benefit to it. Since no one knew that Hayden was a woman, Kevin did not have any love rivals.

He was not afraid of the girls who had a crush on Hayden. Once she revealed herself as a woman, all those girls would no longer be an issue.

Kevin walked into the elevator in a good mood and headed to the top floor.

Once he arrived, he walked to the office and opened the door without the secretary’s help or even knocking beforehand. He tiptoed in, wanting to surprise Hayden.

“Go out. Knock on the door and come in again.”

Hayden’s cold voice resounded.

Kevin stopped.

“Come in.”

Kevin only entered after hearing Hayden’s voice.

He closed the door and walked toward her with a smile. He handed the fresh bouquet to her.

Although Hayden always reprimanded him for giving her bouquets and said it was impractical, he could still sense her happiness whenever she received one.

Hayden accepted the bouquet and dropped a shocking statement. “The bouquet smells great. It’s beautiful. I like it.”

Kevin was stunned.

The next moment, he bent over and touched her forehead.

He muttered, “Your temperature is normal.”

Hayden swatted his hand away with a laugh. “Are you suspecting I have a fever after I said I liked the flowers? Are you hoping that I think the bouquet is ugly and then get you to throw it away instead?”
