“Mr. Queen… Are you saying you’re a girl?” Matilda Reading stammered, strongly indicating disbelief that Hayden was a girl.
Hayden looked at Matilda, who was also looking at her. From Matilda’s expression and gaze, it was evident that she really hoped Hayden would deny it.
Even though Matilda gave up pursuing Hayden after not getting a response, she still hoped that Hayden was a boy. At least, that would mean her crush on Hayden was not misguided.
If Hayden was a woman, then Matilda would doubt her own orientation, mistaking a girl for a boy and admiring her.
Matilda could not remain calm just thinking about it.
Not to mention Matilda, no one could remain calm upon hearing Hayden stating that she was a girl.
After a moment of silence, Hayden said, “I said I’m a girl, believe it or not, it’s up to everyone.”
She would not explain herself.
If it were not for Kevin, she would not even bother saying it. She did not care how others perceived her.
She raised Kevin’s hand, “Both Kev and I are straight. He is not gay, and neither am I.”
Everyone was speechless.
“Old Mr. Reading, I see some acquaintances. I’ll go say hello.”
Hayden left and gave them space to digest this fact. Seeing familiar fellow CEOs, she stood up with Kevin and went to greet them.
However, those CEOs who were familiar with her could not help but have a complicated look when they saw her in women’s clothing.
Hayden was too lazy to explain. She greeted everyone with composure, discussing business matters.
