Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2812

Zachary lingered in Serenity’s office for half an hour before leaving, and that was only because Serenity urged him to.

Meanwhile, in Jensburg, plenty of reporters were waiting outside Queen Enterprise, Queen Manor, Fortress Hotel, and Jensburg Hotel.

They had one aim—to verify whether Hayden was truly a woman.

Queen Manor’s gates were closed. Someone did answer the door when the reporters rang the doorbell, but they were not allowed entry.

When they asked the person who answered the door, that person claimed that he did not know anything.

Donald’s and Sophia’s phones remained turned off. Only Hugh’s number could be reached, but he knew better than to answer calls from unknown numbers.

At that moment, Hayden was on her way to the office.

Kevin was with her.

When the car was about to reach Queen Enterprise, Kevin’s car moved ahead of Hayden’s.

When the reporters saw the familiar Maybach, they immediately surrounded it and forced Kevin to step on the brakes.

Only then did they realize that the car did not belong to Hayden. The car plate number was wrong. Moreover, he would usually have bodyguards following behind him in two cars.

The Maybach belonged to Kevin.

Kevin lowered his window.

“Mr. Kevin, what are your thoughts on Mr. Hayden being a woman?”

Kevin was not answering the question at all.

So, was Hayden a man or a woman?

“Are you guys hungry or cold? You’ve been here since early in the morning.”

Kevin asked the reporters, “Do you want to eat something? You can head to the breakfast diner on the opposite side of the road. Please enjoy yourselves. It’s on me. You’ll need a full stomach to continue waiting out here.

“However, I do suggest you leave. There’s no use doing this. You know Hayden’s personality better than I do. You’ll only find the answer if he’s willing to share it. It’s not as if you can pry Hayden’s mouth open if he doesn’t want to say anything.”

Everyone was speechless.

“Just leave. Many other things are happening in this huge city every moment. Those issues deserve your attention and interviews as well. What’s the point in being hung up on Hayden’s gossip?”
