Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2856

When she first met Julian, her heart beat faster and she would drift into daydreams upon seeing him. As time went by and they became closer, interactions with him were no different from those with her fellow coaches. When alone with Julian, everything felt natural; her heart did not race, and there were no more wandering thoughts.

She thought the relationship with Julian was more of a camaraderie between brothers.

She never expected Julian to express his love for her.

Quinn felt her face heating up.

She touched her face and even gave it a light pat, muttering to herself, “Quinn, are you feeling shy? Is it because a man said he likes you, and now you’re all fluttery? Stay calm, stay calm.”

Julian would not worry about future domestic violence issues as her previous blind dates did. After all, he was a formidable martial artist himself, capable of defeating Will.

She was no match for Will.

If Julian could beat him, it meant his skills exceeded hers. What was there to worry about? On the contrary, she should worry a bit. In future arguments or even fights with Julian, she might be the one to lose, pressed down vigorously against the ground by him.

Quinn got up from the bed, moved to the vanity, and looked at herself in the mirror.

As she continued observing, a confident smile emerged. She said to herself, “Not bad looking at all, Julian has good taste.”

The question lingered though, were she and Julian suitable for each other?

He was the CEO of a large company, hailing from a wealthy family, and surrounded by affluent people. Although the Crawford family was considered well-off in Summervale, the disparity was significant when compared to the Bucham family.

Quinn worried that Julian might be attracted to her novelty, unlike ordinary girls. Once the novelty wore off, he might develop affection for other women.

There was a saying, “Wealth makes a man bad, and women become rich when they go astray.”

Julian was wealthy and handsome, and when he treated someone well, he did it so wholeheartedly. It was easy for a woman to completely fall for him.

Quinn’s emotions gradually calmed down.
