Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2931

“Who did the Newman family’s assets belong to in the first place? Who took whose family assets? Your parents were the ones who shamelessly took Camryn’s assets and you still have the gall to say it was yours? How shameless.

“Carrie, I’m not Camryn. I won’t tolerate your shamelessness. If Camryn hadn’t considered that you’re her half-sister, you’d really be penniless right now. You wouldn’t even have enough money to buy food.

“Hurry up and get out of here. I don’t want to see your face.”

Camryn was ruthless but toward her siblings, she had retained a sliver of mercy.

Otherwise, it would have been terribly easy for the current Camryn to quash Carrie under her boot completely.

“You think I want to see you very much? If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have gone to jail and my parents would be fine! This is all your fault! Serenity Hunt, I might be disgraced now, but you’d better hope that God stays on your side, because one day, if I get the power, I’ll make you suffer double what I’ve suffered.”

Carrie did not hold back. She simply despised Serenity and expressed her hatred to Serenity’s face to the fullest extent.

This was in character for her.

When she appeared as Mrs. Longbottom, she was a dignified, generous, gentle, and graceful lady.

Mr. Longbottom had hired an etiquette teacher to shape her into someone who qualified as a rich madam.

However, that was not what she liked.

She liked being the way she was right now—losing her temper and yelling at the person when she got angry. If she hated someone, she would not hold back and would express her hatred.

“Oh, how scary, Ms. Newman. I’m so scared that I’ve decided to pray to God twice a day starting tomorrow that you stay disgraced and never get any power for the sake of public safety.”

Carrie’s face turned purple in rage.
