Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3057

Josh laughed and said, “Alright, we all know you guys are in love. There’s no need for you to flaunt it.”

“Pot calling the kettle black. Before I got married, you and Zachary shoved so much PDA in my face,” Callum retorted.

“Now, I want to do the same every single day to agitate my unmarried cousins.”

Austin immediately excused himself, as he was the only one single among everyone present.

The other unmarried York gentlemen were not back at the manor.

“Austin, why are you running away so quickly? You should sit here and listen to our experiences. In the future, you can apply it to pursuing your wife and won’t have to take the long route,” Josh teased.

Austin was already at the door by now and he said without looking back, “I think I’m talented and smart enough without being taught, thanks.”

Josh laughed. “I’d believe that about your cooking.”

Then, he turned to say to Zachary, “Austin really does love cooking.”

“If he didn’t, you wouldn’t be able to eat such delicious food.”

Josh rubbed his nose. Okay, that was true.

It was harmonious in Wildridge Manor, but meanwhile, over with Carrie, she had just gotten her test results back from the lab.

A pregnancy test was easy. All it took was a urine test and the results would be out very quickly too.

While waiting for the results, Carrie repeatedly prayed in her heart that she was not pregnant and hoped she was just having a stomach bug.

If she really was pregnant, she had to abort it. She had heard that it was pretty painful and Mr. Longbottom had instructed her to take the abortion medication at home on her own.

What if something happened and she died though?

Mr. Longbottom was going to call a doctor to their residence for her check-up, but she insisted on coming to the hospital for it. Mr. Longbottom agreed to this, but she had to come alone.

He did not come with her and neither did the two bodyguards.

Carrie used a false identity to register for her check-up, not daring to use her real name in case Camryn found out.
