Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3180

Elisa lingered and later excused herself to her office.

She was not worried about Serenity getting bullied anyway. Even in the past, Serenity was not one to take things lying down, much less now, and she could defend herself on top of that.

When Helen was done serving them each a cup of tea, Serenity dismissed her with a wave.

Once Helen left, Serenity looked at Imogen and smiled. “You can tell me why you’re here now.”

Imogen pursed her lips before saying, “I just want to meet and get to know you, Ms. Hunt.”

Serenity raised an eyebrow. Meet her and get to know her? She was not a celebrity, and neither did she have fans.

Imogen blushed a little and Serenity suddenly understood.

Tentatively, she asked Imogen, “Are you here for one of the York brothers? Which one? Dylan, Peter, or Austin?”

She only listed the eligible ones. Callum was already married and Kevin was on holiday with Hayden at the moment. They were both taken.

As for the rest, she had no clue who their other halves were, beginning with Dylan.

Oh, wait—Austin’s was Isabella O’Connor, though she had not seen the lady in person yet.

Imogen Doyle was not Isabella, so she had to be looking for either Dylan or Peter.

Imogen’s eyes flashed, but she answered honestly, “Dylan.”

Serenity got it now. Imogen was Grandma May’s bride candidate for Dylan.

“How long have you known Dylan, Ms. Doyle? He’s my husband’s cousin. They’re all very close with one another.”

Imogen replied, “Around three months.”

Serenity hummed. Internally, she did the math. If her memory served her right, Dylan had gone looking for Grandma May a few months ago after a candidate was decided for him.

Dylan probably was unsuccessful in persuading Grandma May and had no choice but to finally approach Imogen.

When Serenity brought up Dylan, Imogen looked shy and Serenity could tell that she was a bit attracted to him.

Serenity's heart thumped in dread when she recalled Dylan often had dreams about a woman who kept disrupting his peace.

Had he found the girl in his dreams after making a move on Imogen? Was he leading the two girls on at the same time?
