Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3278

After eating a simple meal, Serenity left for her office. Once she got there, she saw a huge pile of gifts.

Helen said, “Mr. Dylan said they’re all apology gifts for Ms. Doyle and asked for your help to pass them on to her.”

Helen had not heard the gossip about Dylan and was very curious, but if her boss did not talk about it, she would not ask.

“Why isn’t he doing it himself?” Serenity looked at the pile of gifts and saw most were WIltspoon’s local specialties. They were exactly what she intended to get for Imogen, so Dylan had saved her some time and effort.

“He didn’t say.”

“Alright. You can go back to work now.” Serenity walked toward her desk and dug her phone out from her bag to call Dylan.

He quickly picked up and began to beg her for help. He truly had decided to give up on Imogen and would not marry her, but would also not be friends with her, lest his future wife get jealous.

However, it was a fact that he had led Imogen on and was removing himself from the situation after Imogen started liking him, which was unfair to her.

He had bought gifts for Imogen and wanted Serenity to pass them to her to assuage his own guilt. After this, he would not be giving Imogen anything else.

“Fine. I’ll help you pass them to Imogen and tell her you bought them.”

“Just my luck being your sister-in-law.” Serenity sighed. After hanging up, Serenity looked through a few documents before getting the help of two bodyguards to move all the gifts Dylan had bought into her car. Then, under their protection, she left for Wiltspoon Hotel.

Imogen was all packed up and had checked out of the hotel. She was dragging her small luggage as she walked out of the hotel, intending to call a cab to the airport for her flight back to Huntington around noon.

It was the best time to leave for the airport as it spared her some time to grab a bite before her flight once at the airport. When Serenity spotted her walking out with her luggage, she hurriedly asked the driver to stop the car.

“Imogen.” Serenity got out of the car and walked up to Imogen. “Didn’t you say you were going to stay for another two days? Are you leaving now?”

“Yeah. I have a lot of work, so I’m heading back early. Are you seeing me off, Serenity?” Imogen looked behind Serenity and quickly retracted her gaze. She had to stop dreaming. Dylan would never come to see her off.
