“Your winter break started so early.” Camryn appraised Trenton and saw that he had not lost weight. He looked sturdier and a little more mature than before. She was satisfied with the changes the university had made to him.

“Yeah, the moment winter break started, I immediately packed up and took the train home. When I got here I saw your car, so I asked the housekeeper and they said you just got back from a work trip. Everything’s fine, right, Camryn?”

Trenton had a share in Newman Enterprise but he trusted Camryn and was only asking casually. He still did not understand business and had no experience, so he would not ask much.

“Everything’s fine. It’s good that you’re back. Let’s wash our hands and eat. I just got home too.”

Trenton greeted Callum once more. Minutes later, Callum served some food to his beloved wife before asking Trenton, “Are you not planning to find a part-time job during your break? You’d be able to gain some experience and earn some pocket money.”

Trenton was not short on spending money. Callum simply wanted Trenton to have a part-time job so he would not stay at home every day being a third wheel and get in the way of Callum and Camryn’s alone time.

“Christmas is around the corner. Even if he gets a job, he’ll only be doing it for a few days before the holidays start.” Camryn added, “He should just rest at home and meet up with his classmates sometimes.”

However, Trenton said, “I want to go to work. Camryn, please let me work as a temp at our company. I want to help you out in the future and will have to learn at some point. I want to do this every winter break.”

He did not expect to earn much. He just wanted to gain some experience and understanding of his family’s company.
