Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3293

Camryn said, “I think you’d better work at Newman Enterprise. You have a share in it too. You can work there while on break from university and gain some work experience. Once you graduate, if you don’t plan to further your studies, you can start from the bottom. It’ll be a good, early exposure to experience the hardships of work.”

York Corporation had very high standards. Even the younger York lads could not start working at the headquarters right off the bat when they freshly graduated.

Camryn did not want her brother to use Callum to get into York Corporation. Others would talk and it would not be fair to others either, though the world was not fair in the first place. It was better for her to let Trenton work at Newman Enterprise. After all, Trenton had a share in it.

“Didn’t you say it’ll be Christmas soon? What if he can’t get a train ticket home when the time comes?” Callum looked like he wanted Trenton to stay in Wiltspoon but was internally looking forward to him going to work at Newman Enterprise. That way, he could have some alone time with Camryn before Christmas came to pass.

Camryn said, “We can buy the train or flight tickets in advance. As long as we plan it, we don’t have to worry he can’t get home. If we really can’t get any tickets, I’ll send someone to pick him up.”

“I’ll do whatever you say, Camryn. Please tell Dal to arrange a job for me then. Don’t let anyone know I’m your brother. Just say I’m a university student looking for a temp job, about a month-long during the winter break to earn some money for the holidays.

“Many of my classmates aren’t in a rush to get home for the holidays either. They’ll get a job to earn some money before going home. Usually, they’d use every available moment to earn money and I sometimes go with my friend to work too. I don’t earn much, but it’s a form of life experience too.”

He had been born with a golden spoon and had never worried about money. Before his parents had gone to jail, he was never lacking materially despite being sent to a boarding school to study very early on.
