Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3355

“I think Sonny’s holiday starts next Tuesday. I can take him to Jensburg during that period, and we can return to Wiltspoon together once you’re on leave.

“Let’s have a look at some houses when I go over. We should buy one since you’ll be developing your business there. That way, we don’t have to stay in a hotel whenever we visit.”

Liberty said, “I don’t think we have to buy a house now. We can consider it after my business is more stable. Besides, I don’t have that much money for it now. I might have enough for an apartment though.”

However, Duncan probably disliked living in an apartment.

Sonny was still young too. If they were to live in an apartment, their neighbors would probably complain when Sonny ran around at home.

Liberty often received complaints from her neighbor downstairs before her divorce.

Whenever that happened, Hank would tell her to keep an eye on Sonny and stop him from making noises.

Telling a clueless child to stay quiet was impossible.

Even adults made sounds whenever they chopped ingredients or walked in high heels, which would annoy neighbors downstairs.

Things got better when Liberty and Sonny moved out and lived in their own rented unit. It was before she bought Zachary’s villa and Sonny was already in preschool. The boy would usually bathe and sleep right upon returning home after he got off school and went to a few places. He barely affected others.

Duncan was used to living in a huge villa. Liberty knew he must have meant a villa instead of an apartment when he mentioned buying a house. However, she truly did not have much money left to buy one.

Her company was just established not long ago. Although she had secured many deals, she had yet to receive a loan. She injected her own money to ensure the company could operate as usual.

As a shareholder, she had to invest as well.

Besides, she had just bought the villa in Wiltspoon and had no thoughts of getting another house.

Duncan said, “You don’t have to pay. I’ll buy the house. We’ll be a family once we get married. The house will be our safe space in Jensburg.”

They could not register their marriage until next year.

Once they did, they would officially become husband and wife. Naturally, Duncan wanted to live in their home instead of a hotel whenever he visited Jensburg with Sonny.
