Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3397

Silver gave in to Sugar.

It was lively as many people were gathered for the meal.

The atmosphere was great, and everyone’s appetite grew as well.

Even Patrick ate half a steak, and a bowl of soup, with some sides. He also had some fruits to finish off.

The elders told Audrey, “Old Pat doesn’t usually eat much, Audrey. He would take a bit of noodles, half a bowl of soup, and some vegetables. He doesn’t even eat fruits afterward.”

Audrey looked toward Patrick and said, “You should eat more, Uncle True. More nutrients would do you good.”

People his age were supposed to eat whatever they wanted without restraint.

Food lovers would say that everyone was born to taste all the delicacies in the world.

Patrick smiled. “I’ll have to go for a walk to digest my food if I overeat. Now that I’m old, my stamina has worsened, and I don’t really like moving around much. However, I know I must do it to maintain my physical fitness.

“That’s why I usually walk around in the garden for half an hour.”

Sonny immediately raised his head and told Patrick, “I’ll walk with you, Great-grandpa True. We can have supper after the walk.”

Everyone laughed.

Patrick patted Sonny’s head and said dotingly, “Okay. Let me sit for a bit more, and we can go for a stroll outside later.”

Sugar asked Serenity, “Does Sonny usually have supper?”

“He drinks formula before sleeping. I guess that counts as supper.”

Sugar posed another question instinctively, “Do children over three years old still drink formula?”

Sonny blushed.

He said, “The kids in my class take formulas too.”

Serenity replied, “Sonny can have it if he likes it. We can afford it anyway. Besides, three is still a young age. Some of them still crave their mother's milk or formula. We can start letting him have cow’s milk a few years later.”
