Seven Days Seven Nights (Nicholas and Nancy) novel Chapter 66

Chapter 66 Nancy Blocked Nicholas

Seeing that it was a call from Nicholas, Nancy didn’t hesitate and hung up immediately.

“Why don’t you answer it?” Linda asked.

“I don’t want to. It would have affected my mood,”

Linda nodded in agreement, saying, “I feel the same way.”

Conversely, Nicholas was frustrated, mainly after Nancy hung up the phone.

He dialed a second call.

Third call.

But just like before, every single call was ruthlessly hung up by Nancy.

When Nicholas tried calling again, he discovered he had been blocked and added to the block list.

He immediately sent a WhatsApp message, saying, Remove me.”

Nancy pretended not to understand and replied, “Remove what?”

“Remove me from the block list.”

So, he knew, huh?

That was even better because she was in a bad mood and wanted him to stay on the block list for

now.

She would remove him from the block list when her mood improved.

After finishing their milk tea, Nancy and Linda continued their shopping spree.

They came across a large store filled with various beautiful dresses, all with unique and stylish designs.

Nancy and Linda liked what they saw and excitedly walked into the store.

Soon, Nancy picked out a light apricot chiffon short dress.

The dress fabric was exceptionally lightweight and felt very comfortable to the touch. Nancy fell in love with it at first sight.

Even more important was that the dress had a perfect design around the lower abdomen and didn’t make her belly stand out. It was just perfect for her.

Nancy changed into the dress with the help of the store assistant. When she came out, she immediately exclaimed, “Linda, what do you think? Does it look good?”

It was silent.

Unexpectedly, she received no response.

“Linda?” Nancy called out again but realized that Linda was not by her side.

Wearing the dress, Nancy started to search all around. In the end, she found Linda in the men’s clothing section.

As Nancy approached, she saw Linda carefully touching a blue suit in front of her. Linda’s. expression was solemn. She would furrow her brows slightly and then relax them, occasionally breaking into a smile.

Perhaps she was so absorbed in her thoughts that even with Nancy standing beside her, Linda didn’t notice her presence.

It wasn’t until Linda finished examining the suit that the store assistant approached with a smile and said, “Miss, you have excellent taste. This suit just arrived today. Whether the fabric or the tailoring, it’s a limited edition nationwide…”

As the store assistant spoke, Linda raised her hand to interrupt, saying, “Okay, I got it. No need for further explanations.”

“So, Miss, does that mean you’d like to purchase it?” The store assistant asked enthusiastically.

“No, thank you,” Linda answered, putting on her sunglasses.

When she turned around, she noticed that Nancy was standing beside her, and she had already changed into the dress.

Linda exclaimed on the spot, “Wow, Nancy! This one is gorgeous, it’s like a fairy dress, buy this

one!”

“Is it that nice?” Nancy was a bit skeptical.

Perhaps it was because of her marriage, Nancy always aware of her status being someone’s wife, even though she’s still a student. Subconsciously, she prefers mature styles when choosing

clothes.

But this dress had a robust and youthful vibe, exuding a sense of freshness and liveliness with a playful touch of cuteness.

“Of course! You’re beautiful, with gorgeous skin, cherry lips, and a small face. Anything you wear looks good,” Linda immediately chimed in.

Her praise embarrassed Nancy, and she replied, “Thank you, Linda. Even though I know I’m far from comparing to you, I’m still delighted.”

“I’m not just making things up. Nancy, you’re beautiful. As for me, I became a celebrity by chance. Who says celebrities are the most beautiful? Many people are more beautiful than celebrities, and you’re one of them.”

“Besides…” Linda flipped her wavy hair and gave a seductive smile in front of the mirror.

“Our styles are completely different. You have that fresh and adorable beauty, while I …”

Luke’s words about her beauty and sensuality came to Linda’s mind. He had bitten her earlobe and whispered with his sexy voice, “Linda, your beauty is out of this world. I’ve never seen a woman sexier than you, do you know that? I wish I could die on top of you.”

Bringing her thoughts back, Linda deepened her smile and replied, “I suppose I have a bewitching and soul-captivating beauty.”

Nancy glanced at Linda and nodded in total agreement, saying, “Yes, I think so, too.”

“But, Linda, you’re not just bewitching. You look stunning in every style.”

“Well, I love hearing that. Nancy, stand in some beautiful poses. I want to take a few photos of you,” Linda said.

As soon as she heard they were going to take photos, Nancy immediately cooperated.

Nancy is so pretty that any small gestures she makes, looked so photogenic. Thus, the result were quite stunning.

So, with a few clicks, Linda had taken some great photos.

“Linda, I’ll go in and change first.”

“Okay.”

Linda waved to Nancy and then tapped her phone to send the pictures of Nancy to her team.

Afterward, she sent a voice message, saying, “Listen up, dear team members. Stop doing whatever you’re currently working on and give the pictures I sent you a good edit.”
