Seven Days Seven Nights (Nicholas and Nancy) novel Chapter 93

Chapter 93 Nicholas Met Christian

Nancy bought two small bottles of mineral water. One was unopened, and she took a sip from the

other bottle.

She only drank a little, so she found no significant difference. When she took it out, she didn’t pay much attention.

She didn’t expect that small neglect would lead to a big mistake.

Seeing Nancy looking at the empty bottle and hesitant to speak, Christian asked, “What’s the

matter?”

“Well, I …”

It would be too embarrassing to say it.

Finally, Nancy changed the subject, “Nothing. I just wanted to ask how you are feeling now?”

“I’m fine. It’s nothing to me, but how do you feel?”

After Christian finished speaking, he looked at Nancy.

At that moment, he immediately looked away.

Then he snorted and warned himself.

Nancy was quite slow, and she didn’t react to him

Christian spoke again directly, “Your clothes….

Nancy followed his gaze and looked at her clothes. When she saw it, she immediately covered. herself with her hands.

She bit her lip, and her face blushed like a cherry.

She was even more ashamed.

Nancy, you idiot! Why didn’t you think of this when it rained so heavily? You even let others remind you. He has to remind you twice before you realize. You’re so stupid!

Nancy wore a white shirt made from mulberry silk material. It was very light and breathable.

Under normal circumstances, everything was fine. But after getting wet, her clothes became sheer and transparent.

The problem was the color of her underwear underneath was vaguely visible.

She felt very embarrassed now but had no extra clothes.

Nancy bit her lip and frowned. She was thinking about what to do for a while.

Christian took off his coat, walked to the pavilion, and wrung the water off it.

After wringing it several times, he shook off his coat and handed it to Nancy. “It’s a little wet. If you don’t mind, put it on first.”

“Okay, thank you!”

Of course, Nancy would not refuse this time.

She took his coat and turned around to put the coat on.

She didn’t turn around until she was sure she didn’t expose anything.

Christian’s phone rang again. It was Luciana’s call.

“It’s raining so heavily. Where did you go? Did you get wet?” Luciana asked straight.

“I’m okay, I’m at the pavilion. Please ask someone to pick me up.”

“Okay, just wait there. We’ll come right away.”

Christian realized they were coming together, and he immediately stopped her. “Luciana, I met a friend here. You can accompany Mom home first and ask the driver to pick me up. I’m not in a hurry.”

“A friend?” Luciana was confused and asked curiously, “What kind of friend is so important to you? Besides, I’ve met all your friends. We can go back together. Our car is enough to accommodate you all.”

“There are too many of you. I’m afraid of scaring my friend if we go back together,” Christian replied.

“Oh…” Luciana immediately understood, “Okay, I understand. Mom and I won’t go up. I’ll ask Cynthia to pick you up.”

“There’s no need. Cynthia will cause trouble for me if she comes here.” Christian frowned.

Unexpectedly, after he finished speaking, he heard Cynthia’s dissatisfied voice. “Christian, who are you talking about?”

“Christian, you’re a policeman. Wouldn’t it be inappropriate for you to speak ill of your sister from behind her back like this?”

“Hmph! You didn’t let me come, but I’ll still come!

Christian couldn’t say anything.

He could be considered a strategist but couldn’t do anything about his talkative sister, who was several years younger.

Thinking that Cynthia would come up soon, Christian felt a headache coming on.

Especially since Nancy was still wearing his coat.

When Cynthia came up, she just had a hundred thousand questions and kept chattering.

Christian put his phone away and walked towards Nancy. “I just made a call. Someone will come to pick us up soon. It’s raining hard, and it won’t stop for a while. I’ll take you back.”

After hearing this, Nancy politely refused, “Thank you, Christian. But I have troubled you a lot. today, I can’t trouble you anymore.”

“It’s nothing.”

“You don’t have to do that. It’s raining so hard. I’ve made you wet all over. I’d feel more guilty if 1 wasted your time any longer.”

But Christian insisted, “I have plenty of time today.”

When Nancy was thinking about how to refuse, she suddenly heard a whistle.

She thought it was someone who came to pick Christian up.

But she never expected the person getting out of the car in this heavy rain would be Nicholas.

It’s him?

Nancy couldn’t believe it. She thought she had seen it wrongly, and her vision was blurred, so she must had an illusion.

However, the man with a tall figure holding an umbrella became closer and clearer in the middle of heavy rain. Nancy realized that he was Nicholas.

Nicholas came.

Why did he come here? It was something she never dreamed of.

“Nancy…”

Following a familiar voice, Nicholas put down his umbrella, and his tall figure stopped before Nancy.

“Why don’t you check the weather forecast before going out?”
