Seven Days Seven Nights (Nicholas and Nancy) novel Chapter 99

Chapter 99 Shocked! Nicholas Cheated?

“I won’t be able to say everything it in a short time. Let me come in.”

“Just say it here.” Nancy was unyielding.

Felix insisted, “Don’t worry, I’m not going to borrow money today. It’s really hard to find you. It searched for several hours before I found it. Now I am thirsty and tired. Nancy, can you please let me in, sit for a while and have a glass of water?”

He had asked, so it would be unreasonable if Nancy refused.

After all, he was her father.

Nancy opened the door, walked inside, and sat on the sofa.

Felix saw that she agreed to let him in, then he immediately opened the door wide happily and

walked in.

His eyes lit up when he saw the expensive imported sofa in the living room. He couldn’t wait to have a seat.

Then he smiled with a flattering look on his face. “Wealthy man’s things are simply different. The sofa is much cozier.”

“Just finish what you have to say. I only give you ten minutes.”

Felix looked at her. “Water! Where is the water?”

Nancy stood up speechlessly, poured him a glass of water, and put it in front of him. “Drink quickly. When you’ve had your fill, say it. You only have nine minutes now.”

Felix finally felt a sense of oppression.

He drank the water right away, set the water glass down, then finally took something out of the bag and placed it in front of Nancy.

Nancy looked at the newspaper and the thick stack of photos before her and asked coldly, “What

are these?”

“Silly girl, it seems that you really don’t know anything at all. You’re still kept in the dark until now. Nicholas, he cheated on you. He has a woman outside.”

“What did you say?”

When Nancy heard this, she could no longer remain calm and stood up quickly.

What surprised her was not what Felix said.

But how did Felix find out.

More importantly, how could he tell her so surely?

Felix looked at the things in front of him and said, “The evidence is here. Take a look.”

Nancy picked up the thick envelope filled with photos. Each one contained picture of Nicholas. and Madelline together.

Some photos were taken in the mall.

Some were in the hospital.

All of these photos were all taken after Madelline returned. Nancy was a witness to several scenes.

So, she knew it. Nothing was surprising.

When she opened the newspaper, the eye-catching headline took her attention right away: Nicholas Sallow, from a top wealthy family, is deeply in love with the daughter of the Phillips that he will remain loyal until his death, though she is disabled.

Then, it was described pathetically how much Nicholas and Madelline loved each other and how much people envied them. Madelline was disabled, but Nicholas would never leave her and his love never changed.

Praising the great love between them.

This was the first time Nancy saw this news.

On the day after Madelline’s birthday, she paid many media to write and spread news articles.

That day, Nancy received many, many messages on her phone.

However, she hesitated and didn’t dare to open it.

Nancy always believed that this matter was resolved, but he didn’t expect Felix would collect everything and show it to her so abruptly that there was no time to back down.

That day, she kept telling herself: Don’t panic. Don’t get angry.

After all, she was Nicholas’ wife. The wife he married openly. His legal partner.

She had been strengthening her mentality.

Nevertheless, Nancy still felt her heart ached terribly when that day’s news was revealed to her without any concealment a few days later.

Madelline’s birthday party was so beautiful!

It turned out that after she left, Madelline entered like a princess, sitting in a wheelchair and dancing with her arms.

Nancy closed her eyes. The scene of that day flashed in Nancy’s mind like a movie.

Felix seized the opportunity and spoke, “How about it? Let me tell you, I have evidence! Nicholas did have a woman outside.”

Nancy still closed her eyes and ignored him.

A few minutes later, Nancy opened her eyes and looked sharply at Felix. “Where did you get these photos?”

“I secretly took all of this,” Felix answered cheerfully. He really didn’t hide anything.

“What? Secretly?”

This answer was far beyond Nancy’s expectations.

“You mean, you followed Nicholas and took photos secretly?”

“Yeah.”

“You’re crazy.” Nancy was furious. “Could anyone take a picture of someone like Nicholas? You’re lucky this time for not being caught. If he knew, he would never let you go.”

Felix disagreed. “What can he do? Send me to prison? I am his father-in-law, after all.”

Nancy sneered. “Try him, then. However, I won’t be able to save you by then.”

“And I advise you to stop following him. I will destroy all the photos in your hands. Or else, you’ll hold yourself responsible for the consequences.”

“Nancy, do you still have any conscience? All I did was for you. If Nicholas is hooked by women outside and wants to file for divorce, you can’t do anything but cry. Why am I doing these kinds of things? Isn’t it to protect your marriage and ensure your happiness?”

After Felix finished his words, Nancy smiled.

She smiled heartily while saying, “Will you believe what you said yourself?”
