Chapter Sixteen
Mushk was dreading this moment. She didn't wanted to leave.
Not now, not ever, at least not without her brother, but she was forced to do so, because of her nephews and in this cruel world filled with monsters, they definitely needed a man’s shadow over them.
What she didn’t knew was, to escape the monsters outside, she was stepping into another monsters den.
Hugging her aunt, tears falling from her eyes, she sobbed in her arms quietly.
Giving one last hug to Hana, she looks up to see Irtaza standing behind Hana, their eyes clashed together for a second ,and were averted as soon as possible.
But in that one second, Mushk felt things she shouldn’t have, when she was already married to someone else.
Breaking the hug she moves towards Irtaza, who held Murtaza in his arms. Irtaza bends down a little to hand him over.
He looks at her whose eyes were bowed down, for a second he was jealous of those lashes kissing her cheek bones, but then curses himself for feeling such things.
While taking a sleeping Murtaza from his arms, Mushk looked up to see him staring at her, his onyx eyes looking in her forest green ones.
Everyone warmly welcomes them. Mushk is directly taken to Zohan's room, after Murtaza was taken from her arms. She protested, but it was of no use.
She kept quiet, not insisting much because she knew they themselves will bring him to her once he gets up and starts searching for her.
Mujtaba also went with Murtaza. Settling down on the bed, she looks around the room and smiles seeing the simplicity. She knew Zohan didn't decorate the room, so that she can be comfortable. She secretly thanked the god for giving her such an understanding husband.
Mushk comes out of her daydreaming when she hears the door knob turning, and Zohan enters the room.
