Severance Of Ties novel Chapter 4

Chapter Four

Hurriedly wiping her tears, she stands up and sit on the bed, taking Mujtaba in her arms.

"Whats wrong my baby? Why are you crying." She asks him, wiping his tears.

"Aunt, I'm sorry! I heard all the things you were telling grandma about mom and dad, I know eavesdropping is bad. I'm sorry." Mushk tried to control her tears, thinking about how naive this boy is.

He is still thinking his parents escaped with minor injuries and will be coming home soon.

"Its okay my child, you know what happened right? We shall always stay strong and pray to god that he should make your parents fit and fine.” She tells him.

He hurriedly wipes his tears and gets up to pray with his aunt.

Mushk smiles seeing his impatience. Both of them do their prayers and stands on the prayer mat, praying for their family.

They knew no one could help them except God. He have the power to do anything and he won't ignore an innocent boy's prayer. Their hearts were beating peacefully when they bowed down in front of God, and calmness was present on their faces.

This is the power of prayers.

The next morning, Murtaza was really cranky. Mushk knew he was missing his parents and she was not a parent. She had no idea how to handle him perfectly.

"What happened? Is everything okay?" She worriedly asks them looking at their condition.

Irtaza takes Murtaza inside while aunt takes Mushk in the living room settling her on the sofa, she brings her glass of water.

"I don't know what to do aunt, he is miserable. I don't know how to handle him." Mushk tells her, weeping quietly.

"Child, I thought about the same thing and I've found the solution already but.." Her aunt stops midway, she was sure Mushk won't agree to this.

"But what aunt?" Mushk looks at her in anticipation, eagerly wanting to know what solution her aunt is having.
