Next day....

I found out that sir Henry left the house very early in the morning and the cooks were preparing so many fishes.

"What is all this preparation for?" I asked nanny Feng out of curiosity.

"Sir Henry is having a guest today," she replied.

"Ohh, I see."

"Who is this guest?" I added.

"His fiancee."

Her reply was like a heavy blow to my face..

"His fiancee? But how come we never heard of her?"

"Well Quinn, she has been living outside the country for a long time now and besides it's not as though Henry proposed marriage to her, they were betrothed since childhood," Nanny Feng explained further.

I nodded my head and walked away.

"Will sir Henry stop chasing after me??"

I couldn't help but wonder. I started feeling dizzy, so I went to my room to have a good rest...

Sir Henry came back, not alone but with a fine woman bedside him. She wasn't too beautiful, not as I was.

She forced her assets to shake while walking. The way she stepped showed how bossy and arrogant she was.

All of us lined up to greet her, just the way we greeted any of his guests.

"Good day ma'am," they all greeted in unison, excluding me, I was lost in my thoughts.

"Hey you, why didn't you greet me?" I quickly knew that question was directed at me.

"I'm sorry, I got carried away," I replied sharply.

"Now bow down and greet me," she commanded rudely. I couldn't believe she had already started acting so on top of the world.

"I said I was sorry madam," I replied in a rude tone, she was really pissing me off.

"What! Did you just raise your ugly voice at me?"

I laughed inwardly, my voice was very far from ugly but hers was too bad, ugly was even an understatement.

"Kathleen it's enough, you just arrived, don't leave a bad impression," Henry's voice half filled the room. Finally he said something, I wondered if he would just stand there and watch his unreasonable fiancee display her stupidity in front of us all.

"Henry baby are you supporting this ordinary and ugly looking maid?" I swear I would have beat her up right there if I wasn't well disciplined.

She called me ugly, if only she knew her fiance craved for me.

"Kathleen?" Henry called in a warning tone.

"Alright, I'm sorry love, let's go in, I can't allow a nonentity to ruin my day," I heard her ugly voice once more.

She grabbed Henry's arm and they both walked away. "They fitted each other perfectly, Mr. Grumpy and corrupt and Mrs. Arrogant and ugly. Two shameless people," I mumbled in annoyance.
