Chapter 218 

“No biggle, It’s just an egg, not a rock. Are they doing this on purpose? It even stinks like a rotten egal” 

Yolanda got egg goo all over her hand and almost puked from the stench. 

Lizetta’s expression shifted, sensing that something was seriously off. 

How did Jolin and the rest find out she was leaving the country, and why were they blocking the hospital entrance just in time? 

And seriously, if it wasn’t on purpose, what are the odds they’d just happen to have rotten eggs handy? 

Even the medical staff trying to keep the peace got blocked by the crowd; they couldn’t get through. 

Lizetta’s eyes, sharp as knives, swept towards the entrance and fixated on a tall dude in the crowd. 

While everyone else was filming with their phones, this guy was using a live–streaming tripod. 

Just then, Jolin approached Lizetta, looking all torn up, and grabbed her hand, blocking her view, crying out. 

“Liz, you’re my own flesh and blood, you can’t just up and leave me hanging. If you bail on me like this, I’ll listen to these folks and call the cops.” 

Lizetta yanked her hand back with force, raising her voice. “Fine by me. Let the cops decide how much support I should pay and if I can take my brother away.” 

Then, Lizetta turned to Yolanda and whispered sharply. “Looks like someone’s live–streaming.” 

Yolanda caught on fast, shoving Apollo and Erica aside, and dashed towards the entrance, shouting at the crowd. 

“You’ve all been duped! This lady is no saintly mother! My friend and her brother grew up hungry and getting beaten. Thaddeus has been in a vegetative state for over a year, and it’s my friend who’s been footing the medical bills and taking care of him. This lady? She’s only ever hounding my friend for money, hardly showing up at the hospital once every couple of months! Now that she’s heard my friend wants to take Thaddeus abroad, she’s worried she’ll lose her cash cow and brought her bro and sister–in–law to make a scene. They’re demanding one million from my friend- this isn’t about support money, it’s outright extortion! If you don’t believe my words, go ask the 

nurses!” 

Hearing Yolanda say this, some of the families from nearby wards chimed in. 

“Yeah, I’m from the next ward, I often see that girl visiting her big brother.” 

“I saw her once when I was paying the bills; it’s her mom who looks totally unfamiliar.” 

Seeing the tide turn, the tall guy live–streaming hurried to shut it down and even tried to run. 

Yolanda squeezed through the crowd, grabbed the guy by the shoulder, and dragged him into the ward, pinning him against the wall and snatching his phone. 

Too bad the live stream had already been shut down.

“What the hell! Give me back my phone!” the guy panicked. 

Yolanda landed an elbow to his chest, making him grunt and unable to snatch back the phone. 

Yolanda let go, and the guy slid down, clutching his chest in pain.
