She’s Married, Sir (Scarlett and Sebastian) novel Chapter 115

Chapter 115

Scarlett laughed at herself, then quickly glanced at Dey, who was sitting in the driver’s seat.

“Where will the celebration party take place?”

“Haitian Hotel”

It was the most luxurious hotel in Town.

The Gatsby Group celebrated that they secured the contract for the western section of the city with a banquet

Although it was just a section in A Town, Gatsby Group recognized it as the foundation for their development.

Scarlett expected Dev to take her straight to the hotel, but instead he drove them to Blue Bay Shopping Mall.

This time, he presented her with ten exclusive dresses, bags, and jewelry, all from the same high-order evening dress shop.

Scarlett gazed at the luxurious paper bags, watching as the staff placed them into the trunk one by one, causing her to clutch

her forehead in frustration.

“Mr. Gatsby, the delivery fee is very expensive”

Dey leaned against the car door and tilted his head to look at her. “You ain’t comin’ back this time. Otherwise, I’ll be keepin’ you entertained all the time.”

Scarlett was stunned by his tone of refusal.

In the past, Liam was also the same, buying things for her without letting her refuse or return them.

He had a gentle demeanor, like jade, but beneath the surface he was stubborn and overbearing. He was determined to do what he said, never wavering

Scarlett was afraid that he would indeed make her entertain him nonstop, so she remained silent.

Once she had passed away, she should still reply on Susan to return these items to him.

Dey drove her to the hotel.

Before entering the banquet hall, he asked her to hold his arm.

Scarlett glanced at him and, reluctantly, raised her hand to take hold of him.

Dev glanced at the land on his arm and couldn’t help but smile.

Hand in hand, the president and his female companion walked into the banquet hall, and upon seeing them, the people quickly rose to their feet.

Amidst the atmosphere of congratulations. Dev’s smile deepened and his eyebrows warmed.

The banquet hall was grand and luxurious, with warm yellow lights and soothing European and American music creating a high-end atmosphere.

Dressed in high-end attire, the men and women who had come to the banquet held goblets and conversed in hushed tones. The Gatsby Group, from senior executives to employees, were all civilized and cultured, so when they saw Scarlett, they greeted her politely rather than mocking her.

Scarlett, on the other hand, felt a bit uneasy; after all, this was someone else’s gathering, and it seemed rather sudden for her to be attending the celebration banquet.

Dev seemed to have seen through her thoughts and whispered into her ear, “It’s an admirable thing for you to be working on this project with me during this time. It’s perfectly fine for you to accompany me to the Gatsby Group’s celebration party.”

Scarlett, upon hearing his words, slightly turned her head and drew back from him.

Dev’s eyes were dazzled by her small action,

Dev didn’t show it, but after escorting her to the main seat, he summoned the waiter and requested a glass of milk and

swallow nest for her.

“Take this first, it will warm your stomach.”
