She’s Married, Sir (Scarlett and Sebastian) novel Chapter 28

Chapter 28

There were still about ten days until the ninth of the next month.

Every day, Scarlett would visit various hospitals to dispense medication and stockpile sleeping pills.

After she placed the medicine, she saw the box on the table.

Only then did she remember that the dress and necklace had not been returned to James, prompting her to quickly pick up her phone and make an appointment with a courier.

She wanted to deal with James, yet she was sure to return the items that weren’t hers

After quickly sending out the courier, she felt much more relieved.

When James saw the dress and necklace being returned, her eyes up with excitement.

Scarlett was markedly distinct; had it been someone else, they would have exchanged the luxury goods for money, yet she returned them!

He had clearly met a proud woman this time, but he was determined to tackle the challenge when he got the project

Scarlett rested at home for a while and received a call from Susan.

Scarlett was asked to accompany her to the wedding dress store to try on the custom-made wedding dress that was ready.

Scarlett, supporting her weary body, hastened to the wedding dress store.

Susan’s fiancé, Cosmo, greeted her.

Scarlett also politely replied with a smile. “Where’s Susan?”

“She’s in the dressing room. You should sit for a while.” Cosmo raised his chin in the direction of the dressing room.

Scarlett and Cosmo had known each other for a long time, so they didn’t stand on ceremony and directly sat down on the

sofa area.

After the last high fever, her body became increasingly exhausted, making it difficult for her to remain standing-

The late symptoms of a heart failure patient included a severe decrease in the heart’s ability to pump blood, resulting in large amounts of blood accumulating in the body and lung circulation, depriving the brain tissue of blood and oxygen.

Without adequate blood oxygen, it was easy to become tired and sleepy.

She was only waiting on the sofa for a few minutes before her head began to droop and she drifted off to sleep.

Gently calling her name, Susan was pulled out of her drowsy state as she emerged from the fitting room.

Susan did not notice her strangeness. She lifted the big wedding dress and walked around in front of her and Cosmo.

“How is it?”

“It looks good.”

Scarlett forced herself to be spirited and smiled sweetly.

Cosmo also hastily exclaimed. “My wife looks stunning no matter what she wears!”

Susan smiled and patted him on the shoulder, pleased with his compliment.

Cosmo rubbed her head lovingly.

Scarlett was relieved to see that Susan and Cosmo had been in a stable and harmonious relationship for eight years.

Cosmo was an honest man. He relied on his own when he left his hometown and got to where he was now.
