Winston grabbed Millie’s wrist and spun her around, pressing her against the wall. As he did, he noticed the butterfly tattoo on her back.
Suddenly, a blurred image of a woman flashed through his mind, overwhelming him with a surge of emotion. He found himself struggling to catch his breath.
Pinned against the wall, Millie glared at Winston, fighting and cursing. “Let me go!”
Winston felt extremely uneasy when he spotted her butterfly tattoo. Tightening his grip, he demanded, How did you get this injury?”
Millie warned him sternly. “Release me, or I’ll hit you.”
Winston couldn’t help but glance up at Millie. His thick, long eyelashes framed his eyes. In the softly lit bathroom, his silhouette appeared slightly blurred.

Joanna looked embarrassed. She nervously bit her lip and asked, “What are you doing?”
Millie’s heart missed a beat, wondering what Winston was about to ask.
Joanna’s eyes flickered with unease, and her voice quivered with hurt. “Win, is this the reason you brought me to this exclusive restaurant? Because Millie and Mr. Harrison are here too?”
Winston frowned, unconsciously letting go of Millie. She shifted her gaze back to him.
Winston’s eyes were filled with a complex array of emotions as he replied slowly, “It’s just a coincidence.”
Millie rubbed her sore wrist, still feeling the ache from his grip.
Joanna cried and asked, “Win, did I do something wrong?”
She had just been outside and overheard Winston and Millie’s conversation. It became apparent that
