“I didn’t think it through. D–Don’t do this to me. What will I do if I’m blacklisted in the profession?” 

He couldn’t accept being blacklisted in the medical profession, not after the effort he put into studying hard and graduating from medical school. That would be a death blow to him. 

Millie’s gaze was devoid of sympathy, as Yoel had always looked down on people like her. She believed he was reaping what he sowed.

Sebastian glared at Yoel. “Don’t plead to us. Did you pause and think about the consequences when you tried to ruin your colleague’s life?” 

Yoel growled at him. “What do you mean? Ruin her life? Am I not doing the right thing by reporting her? What did I do wrong?” 

He looked at Millie indignantly. “Millie Caldwell, tell them. You gave Joanne Caldwell your place in medical school, didn’t you?” 

Winston stared at Millie in shock and confusion. All they knew was the controversy surrounding Joanna’s qualifications. No one was aware that Millie had given up her place for Joanna. 

Was Millie really involved in this matter? 

Millie, taken aback, regretted traveling to the hospital to spectate, as Yoel wouldn’t stop dragging her into

“Dr. Caldwell, did you give up your place to Joanna?” Hazel whispered to Millie. “But everyone thought you paid your way into medical school.” 

Everyone was stunned by Hazel’s words. Indeed, it was public knowledge that the Caldwells, an established medical family, had produced an untalented daughter. 

The day Millie attended medical school, rumors swirled that she bought her way into the school. However, when Joanna was accepted into medical school, everyone assumed she earned her place.
