Millle wasn’t part of their restaurant staff, and if anything happened to Sebastian because of her, the restaurant couldn’t take responsibility. 

“I’ll take responsibility for anything that happens!” Sebastian said seriously. 

Millie couldn’t help but chuckle. Sebastian really did trust her, and she would be sure not to let that trust down. 

Millie laid out her acupuncture needles. 

Her needles looked intimidating and stood out in their kit. 

Sebastian began to look closely at the needles she was holding. Why did those needles look so familiar? 

Millie looked at Sebastian while she put one hand on his swollen, purple leg. “I’m about to begin, sir.” 

Sebastian nodded in response. 

After that, Millie immediately put a needle into his leg. 

Sebastian thought it would hurt, but strangely enough, he didn’t feel pain at all. 

At first, he thought it was a lucky coincidence. But it didn’t hurt even after a dozen or so needles in his leg. 

This was miraculous! There were acupuncturists with decades of experience in his hospital and yet none of them could make acupuncture feel completely painless. 

How was this young lady so talented? 

“Does it still hurt?” Millie looked up at Sebastian. 

He nodded and said honestly, “It hasn’t gone away at all.”

The crowd began to chatter again. “What the hell? I thought she was a professional! Did she do all that for nothing?” 

“So all of that was just for show. We should just wait for the ambulance.” 

“So she was just putting on an act all along!” 

Millie swiftly placed the last needle into his leg amidst their mockery. It was the most important spot 

the very nerve that was twitching wildly. 

Less than ten seconds after the needle was placed, Sebastian’s expression became shocked as he exclaimed, “It doesn’t hurt anymore!” 

The crowd stared at Sebastian. 

It didn’t hurt anymore? 

Millie smiled. Her acupuncture would never just be “an act“.

She had always been confident in her acupuncture skills. If she hadn’t been, she would never have volunteered in the first place. 

“It’s a cramp caused by standing for long periods. You didn’t give your cramps any time to rest and heal, so it became actual muscle tension and nerve cramps,” Millie explained to Sebastian. 

She continued, “If you don’t treat it in time, your leg would have had to be amputated.” 

Millie was right. His leg turning purple had been a very clear sign. That meant his blood flow was being constricted, and that was a huge problem. 

He couldn’t help but ask, “Who are you? What family are you from? Have you ever studied medicine?” 

“Not professionally. I just figured some things out on my own,” Millie said as she stood up. She looked at the time and said, “Take those out after 40 minutes, okay? I have other things to attend to.” 

After that, Millie made to leave the area. 

Sebastian said, “Please give me your name at least, young lady.” 

Millie didn’t reply. She wormed her way past the crowd and walked out of the hall without looking 

back. 

A hero never revealed themselves. They only helped whenever and wherever they were needed.
