Yulissa lay on the ground, holding her waist. She had a feeling that her spine had broken after Xavier kicked her.

If she previously had a love-hate relationship with Xavier, her love was gone now. The only feeling left in her heart now was hatred.

Yulissa gritted her teeth. “Xavier! Why are you so cruel?”

Xavier frowned as he walked toward Yulissa. He forcefully snatched the syringe in Yulissa’s hand before squashing it to pieces with his feet while he looked at Yulissa like she was trash. “What? Are you trying to inject drugs into her too? Are you trying to corrupt her just because you are a deviant?”

“So what if I am?” Yulissa sneered as she looked at Xavier defiantly. “I want to drag her with me even if I go to hell. What can you do about that? Are you going to end my life?”

Xavier used to be a calm man that wasn’t easily agitated. But now, people could upset him quickly.

He felt his blood begin to boil inside of him. Gritting his teeth, Xavier neared Yulissa with a murderous look.

“Yulissa White! Do you think I don’t have the guts to end you?”

The murderous aura that Xavier exuded sent chills down Yulissa’s back. She started to feel afraid. Yulissa replied, “I believe you have the guts to do so. You can’t do that to me, though. After all, Zyon has already escaped, and nobody knows where he is hiding. But, he might contact me. If you accidentally end my life today, you might lose your only chance to get hold of Zyon.”

Yulissa continued, “Besides that, if I were you, I would be sending Winnie to the hospital immediately. Some people can’t stand the shock of a stun gun!”

As Xavier was just feeling frustrated earlier, his anger wasn’t out of control yet.

After hearing what Yulissa said, he immediately turned his attention toward Winnie.

Ignoring Yulissa, Xavier walked over to Winnie and picked her up.

Behind him, Yulissa clenched her jaw as she watched Xavier leave with Winnie in his embrace. Thinking of the person outside who was on her side, she endured the pain she felt and crawled over to the poison-filled briefcase.

Meanwhile, Xavier came face-to-face with Yulissa’s accomplice, Olivia, who was standing guard outside. “Young man, please save me. That evil woman kidnapped me here too. Please help me get away from here,” she shouted before Xavier could say anything.

She was afraid that Xavier would do something terrible to her if he thought that she was an accomplice of Yulissa. That was why she chose to act pitifully.

Xavier had no recollection of any memory that involved Olivia and didn’t bother asking her what she had been through. Thus, Xavier said coldly, “If you want to leave, leave now.”

Olivia let out of sigh of relief when she knew no danger would befall her.

As for Yulissa, she had seen everything that had gone down. She quickly threw the syringe at Olivia. The latter picked it up and pointed in Xavier’s direction before pointing at her feet helplessly.

Yulissa understood what she meant immediately. When she saw that Xavier was about to disappear from her line of sight, Yulissa raged, “Xavier! What is the point of you being so good to Winnie? She doesn’t care that you are doing this for her. There are many men around her. There must be something going on between her and the man who helped her take control of Garland Group, and everyone knows about that.”
