SnowMoon Healer novel Chapter 24

We rest for a moment inside the tree house before we decided to get back.

I'm so shy to show myself to the pack and especially to my father since we just completed the bond.

"It's time to go." Kayden said.

We fix ourselves and jump down into the tree house.

Everyone cheered when they saw us. The wolves are howling to the moon, welcoming their Luna and Alpha. I look at the sky and smile. It only an hour before the blue moon shows. I can't wait to see it. They say that it only show once every one hundred years but this time it only takes twenty two years to show.

I saw my father waving at me. I run to him and hug him tightly.

"I'm so happy for you Adellee, who would have thought that you will be marrying Kayden." Dad said.

"Yes Dad. Who would have known?"

"Hi Sis! Congrats." Dexter said and hugged me.

"Thank you Dex." I reply.

"I wish you all the best now Luna Adellee." We both laugh at our words when Tyler show himself and hugged me.

Dexter and Dad leave us and chat with the others.

"Hey Ty!" I said

"So, you're finally decided to choose that man." Tyler bitterly said.

"Hey Ty, Kayden is a good man. He may not showing it but he is and I love him.

I saw sadness in his eyes.

"I hope he'll treat you better this time. Adellee I want you to know that you are special. Take good care of yourself now okay?" Tyler said.

I smile to him. Even many of our pack members, even my dad thought that Tyler and I will fall into each other, still here we are standing in front of each other and loving our friendship. I know he likes me more than a friend but I refuse to ask it. I will not love him the way he wanted me too, especially now that I already found my other half.

"Thank you Ty, you are the best of friends I ever had." I said before someone grab my hand. It's a kid which I really don't know.

"Luna can you come with me for a while?" she asked.

"Why? Is there any problem?" I asked.

"Yes. Someone needs you at the back of the house pack. He is injured." She said.

I become alert. Why there would someone out here injured?

Is there any attack that we don't know?

I look at Kayden whose busy talking to his friends and some pack leaders. I don't want to disturb him so I decided to investigate it myself.

"Okay little girl, lead me the way." I said.

She nodded and run into the backyard of the pack. I follow him in the deepest part of the backyard where there are so many trees. We are in the forest already when I saw the girl stop and cry.

"Hey what's the problem?" I asked.

"Luna I'm sorry." She said while crying.

"Why are you saying sorry?" I asked.

"The man told me to bring you here. He kidnapped my brother and the only thing that I can do to save him is to bring you here." Before I can react, there was something injected in my back that causes me to blackout.
