" What are you doing? Hop in..." Shawn ordered.

I opened the door's car and sat by his side still confused about the plate's number I saw.

" I bet dad will speak to you regarding the contract, Lily. I have already informed him that I will go back to work."

" You did?" I answered him absent-mindedly.

" Yeah, I did. What are you thinking hard about?" he asked.

I ignored his question, as I was so deep in thoughts, now that I came across a lead, I will have to check it for myself.

" Why do you have 4 cars in the garage though, aren't two enough?" I asked Shawn who was focused on driving now.

" One for me, one for dad, one extra and the fourth one is our uncle's." He started.

" I never saw your uncle in the mansion so why does he keep his car in your garage?"

" He died, dad didn't want to sell his car or throw it away so we kept it in the garage."

" When did he die?"

" A month ago, why do I feel that I am being interrogated here?" Shawn wondered.

" Sorry, I am sorry for your loss. I was just curious.”

" I see," he replied calmly.

As soon as we reached the college, we met Alicia and Penny. They greeted us as they noticed that I am absent-minded. Alicia was way better now and her condition has improved.

" What's wrong with her?" Penny asked Shawn who was walking by my side.

" She has been like that since the morning."

" I am okay guys, just a little bit tired." I lied trying to not attract Shawn's attention, I did not want him to think that I suspect anything, I need to know the full story and make sure that I am not trapped somewhere I won't be able to escape.

During class, my mind was operating... does he perhaps know that woman I killed and he waited to take his revenge on me after making me his daughter-in-law? Will he torture me my whole life just like in the movies while I am his son's wife or maybe he wants me to have a baby with Shawn and then ask his son to divorce me and take away my child?

Oh my god, just what am I thinking? I need to speak with my father after college. Gerald would know where I went anyway so I will not lie about my whereabouts.

After college, I went back to the mansion in Shawn's car, I was about to step out of the car when suddenly Shawn pulled my arm into the car and closed the door that was on my side then he locked the doors.

" I am in a hurry..." I explained.
