“What?” Jonathan was speechless. Is this how demanding celebrity are nowadays? 

However, he was just a bodyguard, so he did not argue with Jolene.

However, she wasn’t pleased with this arrangement and requested ten cars worth a million each to fetch her and her people, or else she won’t sign the contract with our company. 

Alex was caught up with the tech dome project but understood the situation after hearing his explanation. “Wow. She is so arrogant? Does she think she’s the boss? Alright. Ask her to wait there. I’ll call President Sawyer now.” With that said, he hung up the phone. 

He was about to call Jack when Maggie entered the study room, holding a blueprint in her hands for discussion. He kept his phone back in his pocket and diverted his attention to her. They went into an in- depth discussion about the blueprint, and Alex forgot about the phone call completely. 

On the other hand, Jack knew Jolene came to Nebula City to seek help from him and that would solve his most urgent problem. After some thought, he decided to go to the airport personally to fetch Jolene to express Four Seas Corporation’s sincerity towards her. 

Not long after, Jack’s car arrived at the airport entrance and saw a gang of people surrounding Jonathan and pointing their fingers at him. 

Luckily, Jonathan was someone who knew how to handle such a situation, or else he probably wouldn’t survive the tongue–lash from Jolene’s fans. 

“Excuse me,” James pushed through the crowd to open up a clear path for Jack.

Even he came to fetch Jolene personally!
