However, before Carmen reprimanded Alex, she thought about how he had forced Susan to her death. That made Carmen swallowed all her words before they ever got out. 

“Heather, come here. Let’s chat,” said Carmen, who didn’t dare to scold Alex. She could only get Heather to the other room to talk.
