Alex’s pill might not have a significant effect on others, but they were magical pills for elderly people like Richard and Giles. 

No matter how healthy or tough their bodies were, they would still fall sick because of their age. 

They had to take supplements and medicines every day. Moreover, they could not do strenuous workouts, and even a simple fall could cost them their lives.

Richard snorted coldly without even looking at Giles. “You’ve already eaten one, and I’m not making you

for it, so stop trying to get my pills.” 

Their conversation left the crowd astounded. Everyone there knew about Richard’s and Giles’ friendship, yet the duo was fighting over a few pills with no care about it. 

The crowd turned to Alex, wondering if he had drugged the cocoa-bean-looking things.

Despite coming to the realization that he would not be getting the pills from his friend, Giles refused to accept his fate and shifted his gaze to Alex. 

He’s the one who gave Old Mr. Grant the pills. Maybe he has more!
