Chapter 831 Time For Payback 

Lucas immediately recognized Maggie as the woman who had kicked him in the balls when he saw her entering with Alex. 

However, considering the current circumstances, he decided to let the incident dide for now Carmen’s summoning of Alex to fulfill the ten billion promise took precedence over seeking immediate revenge.

Secretly, Lucas reveled in his magnanimity, brushing off Alex’s past involvement with Maggie as he envisioned a future where she would belong exclusively to him once they exchanged vows. 

The thought of indulging in passionate nights with such a stunning woman thrilled him to no end, especially since he had been deprived of intimacy since his unfortunate injury. 

He leered at Maggie as the prospect of starting a physical relationship with her enticed him.

Fueled by her indignation. Carmen lashed out. “You should consider yourself lucky that my son has taken an interest in you. How dare you deem him unworthy and ruin my daughter’s marriage? Today, yours truly shall teach you a lesson.” 

Carmen rolled up her sleeves and charged fiercely toward Maggie. Just as she was about to land a tight slap on Maggie’s face, Alex swiftly intervened.
